any plan for members sticker?  like a prevoc01, prevoc02, prevoc100.. bla2.. small sticker in white or black color is enuf.. stick it at rear windscreen?..  something like below... at least we know how many members we have... just my 2cent only...

I just received my car, Elegant Brown | WWX 7XX

Initial review after driving in highway & normal road.

1. There's no replacement for displacement - CFE has good performance, but the torque and power from a 2.0 NA is instant. Still, I've test driven the Preve and I am satisfied with the performance.
2. Speedo has some error, 110 kph on GPS is ~115 in the speedo.
3. Odometer however is accurate - 15 km travelled in GPS is 15 km travelled in odometer.
4. Fuel efficiency is good. I'm getting 7.5 L/100km. Driving the way I usually do. Not babying the car but not stressing it too much either.

That's my initial review of the car. Will update later if I have anything to add.

ya, she paid all because i went to the COE with her then she called her dad. They apology to me sincerely and i feel it so i forgive them, just pay for the bill and i act like nothing. After all cosmetic part only ma. Chasis, suspension everything alright.

btw about the ecu tuning,does it have effect on the engine or fc?i felt really weird when pressing pedal,its like :

1.press pedal
2.wtf not moving mang
3.wtf so slow move(still pressing)
4.wtf already bang infront car 

I have an idling issue that caused the car to stall when I'm just about to move and the A/C disengages. Apparently, then the A/C disengages, the idling goes up & down erratically. This + the low revs when launching caused my car to stall, several times

I drive a manual by the way.

Anyway, guys, I need a favour from everyone. I went to the service center yesterday complaining that when I wind the driver's side window all the way up, the door trim seems to move out a little, like something pushing from the inside the door trim. The SC said ALL Preve's have this issue. Do you guys have a similar issue?

next Monday will go for my 5K service. Yesterday, I went to see the new Camry. Surprise to know that Camry use half soft touch and half hard plastic for dashboard and all doors. I thought Camry will come with full soft touch like Mercedes.

btw, the most fun part of driving Preve is playing with the paddle shifter even in D mode. Normally when stopping at traffic light, I will downshift to gear 1 and when the light turn green, slam the gas paddle and the car will fly nicely.

did u experienced fc going up bit by bit when u stop a traffic jam? if yes, we're in the same boat, otherwise confirmed my meter faulty    

Yes, the average fuel consumption will slowly increase in the traffic jam or even your engine started without moving your car.

Have you try to reset Trip A, Trip B, Trip C and the Average meter? i believe it should works.

average fc meter is calculating average maa.. if u not reset it, in a long time it will be static... and that's ur true fc...

minor2 problem seem to be can tolerate.. but if heart(engine) of car not working, what else can u do?... change to new engine?

actually my plan bough preve, after 10 years old i'm considering change cfe engine to others, but if within 1 year engine got problem, seem my plan xble pakai d..

Been a silent reader for quite a while.
It's day 3 with my Preve today.

Just collected my car, still doing my review work. But something urgent I must share with you all first.

There is a Batch of Preves have to be recalled as I remembered one of our forummer say he saw a chop mentioning "Recall 100% Completed".  This has to do with the Car Battery, where one of the connection handle is giving trouble and will cause your engine to shut off immediately.  I am one of those who got it replaced and I was called to send my car in for service without me asking for it.  I have already confirmed with Service Advisor this morning and it's true they have to fix this issue for those unlucky batch. My batch is 40XX.

My advice is better go check with your SC whether you fall in that batch, and get it fixed immediately before going outstation, Especially Trips That Go Downhill such as Cameron & Genting. But, please don't make a hoo-hah, it's a quick fix and for me I was lucky I never experience engine shut down for the past 12 days.

Yup, they are calling us to do a first 1k service without informing about this issue. They prefer not to mention which batch. Anyway, I am happy they called.  They already have the spare part on hand. No need to issue order form and wait for parts to be delivered.

just do like what me and my friend did to a EON brand few months back...
friend bought an Exora Bold, but the SA, well... did not commit to his promises (on helping with the number plate & NCD transfer... later on his OWV issues)... so my friend pakat with us ramai2 go there, buat2 like interested to buy... after 15-20 minutes chat2 with a few SA there, suddenly my friend came and say "oit, buat pe beli sini, kat sini lah aku beli Bold yg byk problem tu"... we all buat2 terkejut and ramai2 keluar from that showroom... not only us, there are about 4-5 customer also chow... 2-3 days later the SA called him to apologize and gave him freebies so as to jaga face lah... and he did keep his promise to help rectify my friend's Bold OWV issue with their service center...

no need lah... you will only cari gaduh with those dugongs fanboys onli... sure bikin semak this thread later on...

They never call me at all... I went to service because my mileage already over 1K.

Once there, I did not complain anything about battery nor engine problem. When ready to collect my car, I simply said this car FC quite high and the service adviser told me they already did the engine tuning for me, some more *not so clear what he said* the battery for me free of charge. 
If they fix your battery, you will know bro, your HU will be locked and asked you to re-enter pin code. The clock had been reset. The trip meter also reset (though not sure if this is cause by battery of engine tuning). For my case, my folding side mirrors also out of sync (not folding when lock the car, not unfold when press the button, but can easily fix)

FOR those who solved the OWV problem, may i know which SC you guys go to and how many days you need to leave the car there?

and are you satisfied with the results?

I am from Kepong and planing to settle my OWV problem at any SC either in KL or Selangor area. Looking for an experienced SC.

I try not to leave my car there if it is just because of waiting for spare parts only or with the runaway Service Advisor..

guys.. i hv done OWV repair at COSE last two weeks... but i need to leave my car for a week becoz diorang takde stock head gasket ( after they dismantle my top engine baru notice they dont have head gasket stock) end up .. kena tido kat sc for a week.. normally 2-3 days

before repair.. even after 2 hours engine stop bila on ada bunyi... but now.. no more... every morning on.. this sound gone.. happy with the result

but pls take note.. according to thier engineer.. oil retain at VVT spec is 24 hrs... means kalau u leave ur car more than 2 days... bunyi ni mungkin akan ada... it happened to me last weeknd...

and FYI.. OWV case is not handled by CAT... it is handled by SC..
CAT team will take care new complaint on preve only... like my case... CAT resolved my wind noise problem and terminal battery issues...

morning guys. Wanna ask. The oil change for 1k service is actually 5 litres?I'm here at dealer service center and I dint think they can solved the dashboard rattling and fuel indicator issue.

I still stick to the red... hopefully no problem with the paint...
BTW, my SA just told me to pay d/p tmrw. I'll probably get d car on monday or tuesday...

btw, will the tires affected if they pump more than 40?
