OWV they have to open your cylinder head. the valve located in between cylinder block and cylinder head i think.

if have this SYNC problem ask the SA, he said that normal, are sure? sound like the side mirror already fully expand but the motor still running, i think it just put unnecessary force to motor, in the longer run it will causing the problem to the motor/servo.

and he said : you know right how long the warranty.

Have you try to observe the different between S and D mode in term of pedal press vs. RPM?
If D suppose to give same response as S why need S anymore.
Basically D keeps you current FC as low as possible by up shifting the virtual CVT gear to reduce RPM, less RPM less mean less combustion. Less combustion mean less Fuel Consumption.
Want more power shift to S mode your RPM can go up to 5k then you can maintain ≃204NM and you get more toque.

This fundamentality same reason why "ECO Mode" was introduce in Toyota Prius -maximizes fuel savings by reducing throttle response.

Preve is using same engine and transmission with EB, infact Preve should have less FC than EB since Preve Kerb weight is less than EB and it’s more aerodynamic to reduce drag in order to increase fuel efficiency.
for your case i am not really sure.

for a new car normaly using less thick oil because bearing clearances is less, example 5W-30, can increase the oil to 10W-40 as mileage adds up.
but better follow recommendation from Proton i think

driving to Putrajaya today 150KMH all the way on Elite highway until Cyberjaya exit, all i can say this car DAMN stable. One more thing, lokatoo gps routing engine quite good compare to Papago but not much POI can be found

Papago also have speed trap, even junction and 3D view, but causing me lost so many time. so many features but core component does not work very well.

careful guthrie especially exit to bukit subang/denai alam, so many car accident there, langgar divider, also 1 guy dead accident with his motorbike on that spot, the road quite bumpy.

the solution is to raplce your OWV, they need to open your cylinder head, took 3 days at least to replace it.


Look like most of the Preve owner have this Gluk Gluk sound, regardless manual or auto, off aircond, free gear ->N, did't apply a brake, still got sound. Anyone have a solution for this please let us know, if i remember correctly it caused by ABS drag, but need confirmation. CoSE promise me for an appointment with the vendor last friday, so far no news
