Nice piece of JavaScript and CSS to display a picture in response to a click on a thumbnail. More attractive than just popping up a window or loading the picture raw in the browser. Instead the whole page is shaded down and the image is loaded in the center of the page.

one problem though.. if the visitor isn't notified of something like this, they just might not like it because it's taking them away from the screen.

so I feel that unless you're running a website which concentrates a lot on the photos then should you use this integration. Oh yeah, without JScript switched on, what happens?

I prefer this way...neat...all the bettter way to force that person to on his javascript function when he visits the webpage

Not bad actually, actually user can cancel loading by clicking the progress bar at any time (but the file will still be loaded expect that there no more blackness).

Well, without js on it would just open the actual file...
