perhaps i have the perception that AK is trying to cash out his investments. i heard for years that they wanted to list the power arm, but then it did not happen. instead, AK sold to 1mdb.

with HSBB speed like unifi, who needs Astro? can just stream or download what? maybe AK cashing out because of this. He foresee the Astro's future. i don't know, this is just my personal view only. Anyway looking at recent big IPO, could be a good buy and sell on the first day i think

true. business still making money but what if when you sell, you can get the future cashflow out right now(of course with certain discount rate)? When you sell, you don't sell at face value of the plant, but you also sell for it's potential to expand or make more money for extension of Power Purchase agreement. So, if you get a good deal whereby u are getting more money from future cash flow, why not make the deal? The purchaser have a few ways to move fwd. One of it is actually to expand the business and get the cashflow from the business expansion.

Businessman always like to diversify. By listing, they got back their original capital plus capital gains n by holding just 33% they are still in control of the company. I am sure when Nestle got listed in the late eighties, its owners are not cashing out.

If IPO = Game, so we are here to make money on listing day, not to discuss how well the company will fly.
