Hi guys, I plan to create a small business site. It's focused on Malaysian customers but to keep the option open to international clients I've decided on .com instead of .com.my

1) I want to achieve something similar like Jobstreet, for example Jobstreet.com is their main site, then for the other local sites they have my.jobstreet.com sg.jobstreet.com id.jobstreet.com etc.

How do i do that?

2) Previously i used to purchase my domain from the webhost in a package, say if i were to choose a .com.my option if i want to use a foreign webhost, where do i purchase the domain?

1) You can do that by creating sub-domain.

Are sub-domains considered a separate domain which i have to register and purchase again? Or is it just like a sub folder?
