N8 is still a good phone, but well life goes on...

Help! I think I fried the sim card slot by accidentally soaking the phone in water. After drying whatever I could, I could start the phone in offline mode (and manage to salvage all my files), but if I restart the phone with any sim card, it'll just crash and keep resetting itself. I confirm the sim card is ok because I can use it on other phones.

I took the N8 to the Nokia Care at Berjaya Plaza, and the guy said, this would prob cost RM500-600 to replace the board.

So I would like to ask, anyone here knows someone that could fix this at a lower price?

indeed brah...i dont mind the camera n fm transmitter downgrade bcuz note 2 pwns in overall smartphone purposes n instagraming

I'm still wondering want to keep my N8 and upgrade my gaming rig or get a Note 2 lol

I'll be away for 2 months from December , so I think I'll get the phone first
If I upgrade my rig I also can't play 
I got D5100 ,only got 35mm and 55-300mm, but still use N8 when I want to take something within seconds lol 

Sien spend so much money buy dslr but didn't really utilize fully 

Anyone know how to factory reset N8?

Phone running on Symbian Belle, and for some funny reason it ask for security code for factory reset. I do not recall setting up such code. I have read some said typing using password like 0000,00000,1234,12345, but so far all did not work.

Any suggestion ?

anyone can use N8 but not anyone can use 808.. even I cannot handle 808 frustrating settings haha

we got N8 camera beater finally after more than 2 years the brand new sony xperia Z with 13MP camera...check it out folks...this might b your new upgrading successor 4 the old N8 hahahaha

mine suddenly dead.

while watching youtube..screen goes black...all button not function.
press power button ==> vibrate 1 time ==> nokia word appear ==> black screen.
press power button 8s also same result...press 3 reset button also same result...

need help guys....
