16mp still sufficient and still can crop a lot, if not for printing 16mp is very good because in the end upload to facebook will be resize to 2048 long edge laugh.gif

btw...i saw someone post about architecture photography copyrights infringement in one of my facebook group and the story goes like this

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

basically the person go to one of the bridge in The Curve there for a photoshoot, that's a famous spot for photoshoot because of the background and environment.

then a guard come and say they are infringing the architecture copyrights by taking photos of their properties while in the picture it does not really reveal the building design since it is more like some full body portraits

so question there, is the guard has the rights to stop us from taking photograph of that particular "structure"/place?

or maybe they got some other secret reason that stop us from taking photos in that section?

photoshoot in public places should not be a problem and it is not against any laws/rules unless stated or as long as the photoshoot session does not disturb anyone right?

and shopping mall should be consider as public place which mean we are allow to take photos since we are in public places and as long as we do not commercially distribute the photos?

i'm bad in laws, but i just want to know this basic laws to protect myself
*
i also get warning before by the security guard when i take picture at the lobby of twin tower. but he still sound ok n tell me that if for personal use then is ok...
so many using compact camera n phone to snap around but they just ignore, because i hanging dslr then come n warning me >.<'''

After I bought my Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD then only notice Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G Nikkor AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor IF-Ed just slightly expensive only.

Kinda sad also...

i typed wrongly..i mean 4k to 5k plus body only.. bt lens is damn expensive for FF..haha..
What's d main difference between FF and crop? IQ?
*
just buy one nikon 50mm 1.4D around RM1k and use on the D600 lo...

statement from ken rockwell: "Pros don't use midrange zooms because they aren't needed, they are too heavy to carry around, they are too expensive. A fixed 50mm lens does the same thing, but better"

hahaha...

i get to know this info but not sure how true is that.
tamron 17-50 got 3 version
1. no built in motor
2. built in motor without VC
3. built in motor with VC

they say the best one is the option 1 that is no built in motor. but i believe that only can be found as used item because it discontinue sometime ago...

Tim Jackson focus chart is ok, but issue is that when I calibrate another lens its quite a hassle to set it up... different MFD, different angle, and need adjust tripod height etc... not so straight forward >_<

I see price around 280 +/-... shashinki, yamiya. Where else can i ask for pricing ah?

Added on July 8, 2012, 10:19 pmThinking to DIY that focus chart by pasting it to a board then I put it at 45 degree... instead of my camera tilt 45 degree hehe...
*
saw that at pro images fb also...RM288
maybe u can get best price from the boss...
hahaha..

Added on July 8, 2012, 10:35 pmlooking for the charger for my AA battery, which one should i get
