I have done a few tests regarding the Wifi and GPS signals drop when my S3 is fit with the Baseus casing, and the result is ya, Baseus casing does reduce the quality of both signals reception quite significantly. Now my S3 has been stripped naked. looking for other casing now.

It's fine, but the signals are reduced. if youre sitting within 5m from ur modem, it wont affect you anything, still can be connected, try to test it beyond that. My XE and my sis Xperia usually have 2 bars of wifi in my living room, but with my Baseus-fitted S3, it dropped to an unstable connection, disconnected, then searching again for the wifi signal. Then after takin off the Baseus, it became normal again, 2 bars, the same as other phones. Then I tested it with a more detailed interface of the Wifi Analyzer app, I could confirm that the Baseus casing was the culprit. Taking it off, it went back to normal. The same goes to GPS signal. Now mine is naked. It's better this way until I could find other casing.

Added on June 11, 2012, 4:22 amouh, thanks for the link. ya it's exactly like this for the GPS. Without the Baseus casing, it locks pretty fast, with it huggin my S3, the signal deteriorates badly.

I LOLed hard when i read this. not gonna need to read back just to quote her personally. Easily label people as fools. I found issues with Wifi and GPS signals when i put casing on it, so making it naked made me fool?

As people have rights to dress up their S3 to anything he/she likes, the same right goes to people who wanna use it naked therefore mind your language here, dont make fool of yourself, your perception alone doesnt make the world.

ya, not to flame that one person personally, just i cant stand to see people easily drop the judgement to people who have their own ways to do things in life. If let's say Uncle Sammy bought an S3 and wanna use it rough, throw here and there, so? do we have rights to say, 'oh unker please dont treat S3 like that unker oh my Goshh' and say that unker is a fool etc.? lol.. unless it's your money which he used to buy it, if not, then just shut up lor~

I love my S3, i want it be covered with casing, but due to the recent finding of signals dropping issue, for now based on that alone, i dont mind using it naked. it's a beauty to be hold and look at too. and no im not a fool.

Max Payne is comin to Android this 14th. But S3 wont be supported just yet.

100MB of free RAM to me is a lot considering the fact that my current load of RAM easily shoot up to 80% due to lots of widgets.

Now using Nova Launcher, not really as light as I would have thought but still smooth nonetheless.

Nah, just tried GO Launcher and Nova. Another $4 for Apex? you go and try 1st la.

Surprisingly, GO and Nova are almost identical in terms of RAM usage, and IMO, GO has lots of rooms of tweaking, just i preferred Nova as it has the Widgets tab in the app drawer.

JB will come to S3 one no worries. The only thing you need to worry is how fast Samsung can make it happens only.

it's ok as long as it isnt too hot. It's best if you play heavy games while charging, just strip it off from any case. The battery is meant to be used anyway therefore why not fully utilise it?

It's still as sexy as ever in my eyes.

too tight, too hard, too thick, signals-blocking case. Baseus Metallic case isnt recommended at all.

Im looking forward for Max Payne, supposed to be launched today. But still S3 users have to wait since it wont be supported at launch. Really cant wait man. Hopefully R* could utilise the power of S3 in their optimisation of the game for it.

the only way is to root and freeze those apps. Force stopping it usually wouldnt work as it would pop back up.

the exterior is like that one. it feels the worst when you play with it in an air-conditioned room then go outside, it feels kinda sticky due to the moisture and oil from the ac and sweat. To be honest, the XE somehow feels more comfortable when holding rather than this. Frequent wiping could be somehow embarassing for me in public places liao~

Now eyeing for good, thin casing that wouldnt affect the GPS and wifi signals.
