QUOTE(ramz @ Jun 11 2012, 02:51 PM) btw, is there some kind of way to 5 finger the screen to close your current app?. like how ios does it (yeah ios is sometimes brilliant). i like it coz i don't need to support the back with another hand when i close. i can close apps with one hand while the s3 is resting vertically on my table. I don't think there's 5 finger close on iphone is there? Screen so small can use 5 fingers to pinch? You mean on an iPad is it?GS3, just back out all the way or like me just hit home |

QUOTE(ramz @ Jun 11 2012, 02:58 PM) iphone don't have? i thought ios is for all apple gadgets? yeah, i don't have iphone, only ipad. but why? that's another thing about ios i don't understand. why cannot just copy the functions from iphone to ipad. is not like is more work. in fact it should be less work. and i also don't understand why i keep bashing apple. must resist. I think you mean to ask this in iSheep's forum lol. |

QUOTE(jokeserv @ Jun 11 2012, 03:57 PM) hi guys i was watching review and found a helpful tip. if you think it takes too long for your phone to return to home screen after pressing the home button, that is because the phone is waiting for s voice. to make it fast go into s voice setting and disable double tap home screen fucntion. now it is faster than htc one x! Thanks, will try |

QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jun 11 2012, 04:14 PM) no its not smooth.. tats why... quad core with 1gb ram.. and its first OS.. lags.. eg. is whn i browse the net. or watch movie long enuff.. whn i exit the application or any other application to the home menu.. the icons comes out one by one.. worst is the widgets.. isnt that a lag? dunno maybe i am too picky.. but doesnt the phone have enuff raw power to process all this stuff ar? lol.. its jus not my phone.. apparently all my other colleagues as well.. That's Samsung's Touchwiz for you. Resource hungry. (Over 60mb sometimes!)and.. the water ripple bit.. whn u on ur phone to swipe across the live wall paper to access the menu.. u can see the ripples moving ever so slowly.. its only u tap tap awhile. thn only its smooth.. meaning to say.. the wake up call for the processors to start their engines is slow.. betul tak? haha.. i ranting d... sry... The OS kills this "Launcher" whenever there is need for more RAM i.e. the stuff you mentioned and it restarts when you exit/press Home. If that bothers you, use alternative launchers i.e. Nova, Apex where they have a "stay in RAM" function. However, you will need root for a complete experience with these 2. |

QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jun 11 2012, 04:23 PM) ohhhhh... now tat explains it all.... sigh.. meaning to say with more ram.. this problem could hv been solved.... right? if only we had 1.5gb ram or somthin.. 30-40MB? Also it depends on what you put on your screens. More piglets, more fat RAM usage how much ram does the other launchers use? |

QUOTE(kantiaros @ Jun 11 2012, 04:59 PM) We bought Pebble Blue 24 hours ago and its cracked. Bf put in pocket while working and then he took out and found there is a slight crack across. He said maybe he bent over lighting to take something from table but its not hard at all. I read So sorry to hear that. Went to Samsung SC said no warranty and they wanted to charge him RM480 (kesian him give 20-30% disc) On the other hand, Im using the White one without any protection, i just put in my handbag along with my stuffs , so is it jus pebble blue screen quality problem (i read in earlier thread another guy with pebble blue also having screen cracked prob) Honestly its not as durable as you think, i would think the quality has been compromised. Its the sad truth p/s: Any of you got contact to repair the screen at much more lower price, pls pm me . TQ I read that the phone's screen is fused with the frame, therefore the expensive repair. Hope you can find a better price for it though. |

QUOTE(geforce1982 @ Jun 14 2012, 10:49 AM) Hi all, Haha another one. Sorry bro, that won't work.My alarm clock does not work after I switch off my hp. Anyone face this prob before as the alarm of my old Sony Eric hp can work when my hp is off. Funny cos most of my Android friends complained about that too. |
