to use nandroid backup, need to have recovery, example clockworkmod recovery
then backup using the recovery, that call nandroid backup

it is 2 different thing
nandroid is for most cases, boot loop
whereas TB help you to restore all the apps and data after installing new rom, where you cant extractr from nandorid backup

yes, tb i used to back up your apps and data from the current rom to another different rom, provided you are rooted

Nandroid backup is the term use to backup the rom, EXACTLY the way it is right now.
So let say you are installing a new rom, and everything that could possibly go wrong happen and you just want to go back the way they were before you did all of this..
Nandroid backup come to the rescue. It simply backup everything ( setting, rom, software, etc.. ) and put it on your phone.
If something happen, go in quick recovery, and recover your phone with that. It then reinstall everything the way it was.
you need to root and install custom recovery to fully understand if i may suggest. reading without practise can make it hard to understand

My goodness. You use Nandroid only if you want to revert back as before you flash custom rom. Nandroid backup is BIG. Normally around 1GB per backup.
After you success flashing new custom rom, use your Titanium to re-install back all you apps and data that sometimes not included in that new custom rom.

Finally found a nice Flip Case for my S3. My S3 no longer naked.

it just a mirror image of your current rom. it back up from a-z just as it is. nothing more nothing less.

rooted stock rom with custom recovery, then yes.  if you use CWM recvoery, it can be found in clockworkmod folder, usually internal memory

actually you can download S3 toolkit by mskip...its super duper easy bro

If you not planning for any custom rom flashing then Titanium should be enough. Though it adviceable to have atleast one Nandroid backup in your phone.
