hmm.. a question here.. what if someone else with a NFC phone and the app install and decides to sabo your tectile by reprogramming it? can the tectile be secured with password or device specific?

currently im using the official flip casing..feel good..nice and solid..but just on the ergonomic side..it fails a bit..very hard to snap a picture..lol

If your thinking of getting the LTE version, it'll either be because you want the Snapdragon S4 or the 2gb of RAM
There's no confirmation as far as I can tell on what frequencies will the Malaysian carriers launch their LTE networks,everything is still in trial phase and even when will the carriers launch their LTE networks.

I don't see the US and Canada versions working here since their LTE networks run on the 700mhz frequency and in many countries including Malaysia, that spectrum is still being used by analog TV and I don't see Malaysia getting rid of Analog TV and changing to only Digital signals anytime soon.

You'll need confirmation of which LTE band your specific carrier will use and then hunt where in the world is there a carrier that uses the same LTE band and import their specific 4G version as Samsung customizes each specific LTE edition for each carrier that wants the phone on their network. There is no one 4G version with a radio that supports every 4G band and some carriers only offer their phones on contracts making it harder to source those phones.

just did a random search for flip case via ebay.com.my
found some cheaper flip case there.. but the design is not that attractive..

Just went to IOI. The samsung shop have stock for both white and blue (and both colours on display, if anyone wants to see the blue one), at RM2199.

Unfortunately for me, I'm trying to buy the white one with maxis plan Anyone knows any of the outlets have stock?

this is minimum usage. screen on time 1 hr + only

so the phone spend most of the time on stand by.
