QUOTE(fallout @ Jun 30 2012, 11:11 PM) You need to ask the seller as I found out there will be a new batch coming... but I'm sure they won't come with Jelly Bean, maybe Samsung yakjuxx 4.0.4 oh new batches... then i guess i'll wait for it first before making my purchase. in the mean time will check at trade zone. You can look in Trade Zone for the phone. Just another newbie question (im using Nokia 5800 and im totally clueless with Andriod) what does Samsung yakjuxx 4.0.4 mean? This post has been edited by moyong: Jun 30 2012, 11:15 PM |

QUOTE(fallout @ Jun 30 2012, 11:29 PM) The main point buying GNex is the direct update from Google (yakju the code use for Gnex). So a yakju Gnex means it will have the OTA (on the air/online update) from Google. Thanks, so does it mean it's best to get a google yakju than a samsung yakju? @.@ Samsung yakjuxx is a Samsung fxxked off version of yakju which comes with the phone, so that Samsung will ruin Gnex with the slow update from them instead of coming from Google. Currently Android's newest edition is 4.1 (Jelly Bean), current Gnex comes with 4.0 (ICS) how do we differentiate which is which because they both start with yakjuXX (i assume XX = number right?) so i should wait for 4.0.4?? |
