this makes me hate this phone really
it has no second hand value at all unlike the SGS series
less than a year the price dropped almost half

How about actually treating the device as a phone instead of some share in the stock market where you have to constantly have the best or whatever?

Unless you're a smartphone hobbyist, I don't see a point in stressing about the current retail or 2nd hand price. Your phone does not suddenly slow down nor shut down completely when its street price drops to a certain level, does it?

An analogy would be cars. Other than vintage cars, I have yet to see a car hold it's price few months after it was launched. It's called depreciation.

Any tips on getting the Circular Menu out on stock browser. I slide 10times only 1~2 times success. laugh.gif

Do you happen to have a cover on your phone that rises above the edge of the phone? The activation area is about 20 pixels from the edge of the screen. You need to hit within that area for the Quick Control menu to appear.

I recommend installing ICS Browser+. It is sort of like an add-on to the stock browser that enables for more customisation for Quick Controls (yes, even the activation area). It also enables text reflow. That alone should make people install if they like stock browser. I am personally using ICS Browser +.

Takes only 1 week for mine to arrive from Korea, standard free shipping summore. Seriously it is much easier to just purchase by yourself.

Oh and don't forget the external charger. You'll be needing that if you [plan to switch batteries on the go like bullets for pistols.

Is that true galaxy nexus didnt have radio ??

I believe what you're referring to is "FM Radio". No, the Galaxy Nexus does not have an FM Radio receiver built in. I, too, hate how this is left out of the device.

FPS definitely increased by a lot, though doubtful of the 60 FPS figure. Also tons of transition animations, some resembling those from iOS (not ashamed to admit).

The rest is pretty much same ol' same ol'. Much of the improvements are under the hood.

I have no problem with my Swype on 4.1. Restored from Titanium Backup though.

Whoah. Dirty flashed Bixie's v2 JB build and am having SuperSU and Superuser conflicts. Dunno who is granting superuser permissions. Eventually had to perform full wipe and reinstall the ROM. Just a heads up if anyone having problems as well.

Hrmm The Ownhere 6.9.0 doesn't make offline maps available, though navigation is now activated.

so in v2 they are using Superuser instead of SuperSU?

actually i prefer superuser........seems more user friendly

Coz in v1 the included superuser app is SuperSU. In v2 there no need to flash a separate package, but it's using Superuser. Quite weird having 2 superuser apps side by side. Was going to remove one of them using TiB, but TiB refused to work. lol
