Erm... Anyone can teach me how can I access the internal memory on PC like a pendrive/sd card??? I mean mass storage mode. I want to settle the unicode thing. If use 酷我 can see all the names with no problem but the player is not fully integrated into the system. Like... can't change songs through the 'notification bar'.

Btw, anyone can recommend me any File Manager, not rooted. Now using Astro. Don't really like it

be4 i go off to my term break, here's how to do it step by step to set up ur nexus the most easy way.

changing to yakju and rooting
1- download v7 galaxy tool kit here trollolol
2- Install it
3- go Here and download Factory Images "yakju" for Galaxy Nexus "maguro" (GSM/HSPA+) or just save this yakju
4- navigate to ''C:\Galaxy Nexus toolkit\ put_google_factory_image_here\'' and place the downloaded file
5- go to control panel\hardware and  sound\ device manager, look for anything related to samsung galaxy nexus or samsung mobile driver. uninstall it, if not present then continue.
6- boot up ur toolkit, and select 4.0.4, then type the number for the option (install/uninstall galaxy nexus drivers on your PC) installed. reboot computer. while w8ing check ur phone, settings\about phone\android version\ u will see 4.0.2, or some number, remember it.
7- boot up tool kit again, turn off phone. turn on phone again but hold down all buttons u can reach. (vol<> and power)
8a- plug phone in computer, in tool kit, select the number u saw in step 6.
8b- optional select the number for "extract and flash google factory stock rom" then folo screen instructions
9- select the number for ''1-click for all''  and follow on screen instructions.
10- folo all steps, when completed they will greet ur with ''congrats u hacked it''
11- sit back reboot and read on
* remember if u saved anything importand in phone, back them up(files etc) be4 u start, sync with gmail and all.

flashing custom rom
1- navigate to here and download ''maguro GSM Galaxy Nexus'' and ''gapps 20120429''
2- place them in ur phone by plugging in and placing them in a folder(remember where u place it)
3- shut down ur phone, reboot phone with holding all physical buttons.
4- press vol - untill the screen shows recovery, then hit power button.
5- cwm screen shows up. select backup/restore, then backup. thats ur pure yakju to roll back nex time
6- reboot recovery
7- select 'factory wipe reset data' and press power
8- select 'wipe cache'  and press power
9- select 'install zip file/ flash zip file' then select 1st option and navigate to the files u placed.
10- install this in order= ROM>GAPPS>KERNAL>BASEBAND>ANY OTHER MODS. (u would be flashing ROM and GAPPS)
11- done flashing, then select back and reboot.
12- u are now a unicorn party!

Can anyone explain on the Driver thing? I just on USB Debug and connect then I got the driver for MTP. I installed Samsung Kies because my last phone is Galaxy W. If this is the case, what should I do to install driver with toolkit. Any difference between that driver and the driver I'm having?

Without root, Volume+ supposed to be boosting which and which volume? My ringing volume is confirmed louder but media volume still ok only (after enabling Volume+ in music effect). I use around +5 or +6 for volume level.

I know kies won't work... Headset stock volume already far more than enough. Don't think is necessary. I know it doesn't need root. hmm... Anyway my volume when playing songs still not that loud. Call/Notification is quite loud though.

who use Google Play Music? why i can't find the equalizer in this player? i remember last time it have under the Setting - Sound Effects... kinda weird

nvm... i will switch back to PowerAmp or PlayerPro

Hmm... Seriously... How can the sound quality be better? Besides equalization, I can't think of any other tweaks a software can do. Maybe the way the software handle the file? Can someone describe how it is 'better'??? I prefer stock coz all other 3rd party don't integrate well. xD

guys... im not sure u encounter this problem when u connect to wifi... basically my nexus has fine connection with WEP security... however when it detects WPA/WPA2... it juz saved there and wont connect... i keep keying the right password and connect yet the outcome still the same

Hmm... I think it worth the try. But lazy to try now.

My music files, some still very low bitrate. My songs some i downloaded many many years back on dial up. Lazy to find replacement version  The newer downloaded ones at least 192kbps, mostly 256 or 320k. If got FLAC then go for FLAC 
BTW...   
Ytd played word search before sleeping (unplugged at 100% and play). Didn't exit and 'sleep' the phone. 'Word search' kept the screen on for two hours. Battery dropped to 79%. I somehow woke up 2 hours after that to close the program and bring the phone into sleep. Seriously not bad for me compared to single core Galaxy W 
How can word search force the screen to be on

1) Able to drag and drop app/widget from one homescreen to another homescreen
2) Able to create folder in App Drawer

Bye bye 3rd party launcher. Back to stock

Normally it's easier to do that... Nexus leave too little area for us (or maybe me...) to pull it to the side. Even when dragging widget from App drawer into homescreen. Sometimes I dragged to the edge it just won't flip to the next page.

If you get what I mean
