Cooking oil has higher heat capacity than water, thus it needs more heat to increase in temparature, so the temparature won't get to very high with cooking oil biggrin.gif

ur statement is not 100% correct leh... sweat.gif
dont forgot our engine is protected by engine oil...
if u said engine oil is flamable, sure the engine will explode if the spark plug keep firing...
*
heh, which part is not correct?
im stressing on the application of engine oil. its lubricant, not heat reduce agent, u need radiator or intercooler for heat transfer in engine, not lubricant.

i said engine oil is flamable, with condition of buring point is higher than fuel and engine temp, thats why it wont ignite easily, but it does burn if heat over its burning point is applied. did i make myself clear enuf now? blush.gif

off topic
FYI, pistons in cylinders come with so call piston rings, thats why lubricant will stay put at the bottom of the engine. it has minimal chance to get intact with upper part of the engine where the spark plugs are (imagine if spark plugs are contaminated with engine oil, how can they produce sparks?). ignition of fuel-o2-mixture must be in closed compartment, orelse the engine will kaput, then totaled.

i think this is more like an experiment.
in real life no one gonna be the cooking-oil-trick white mice, unless he has too much cash to burn.

who knows....

noisy fan cooling > silent water cooling > oily cooking oil cooling > ?????

by combining all above item, i can only conclude dining table will comes next.

reason? here goes:
fan on the ceiling, water & oil (food/drinks related), plus a dining table = my dining room!!! doh.gif
