Thanks alot bro...my current waja 1.6 fc bout rm100 fr 370km...its bout 0.25cent per km...hope forte 2.0 is less than tat..
*
Definitely doing better than that, i am driving a forte 2.0..RM85 full tank can give me bout 400km++ for 80% city (with traffic jams) and 20% highway. If 80% highway and 20% city, i am able to get above 500km. biggrin.gif

hahaha yeah.. im getting close to 480-490km with 80% highway. but city drive must be really light foot cos i can see the fuel burn quite fast.
*
Yup..quite common issue for all 2.0..but I'm satisfied with the performance. The power is always there whenever we need it:p thumbup.gif

bro elru,

are you sure you getting 480-490km full tank with 80% hiway? what is ur current mileage?

mine everyday work seremban - kl , can say almost 80% hiway too..20 % jem from sg.besi to midvalley. i'm consistently getting min 550km/fuel tank. refuel back around rm83-85

i have beem tracking my fuel consumption from day 1 till now. my car is already 13month with 53k KM
*
It all depends on your speed. If u r cruising at 110-120kmh, definitely u can get above 550km..

Hi all

My left headlight has failed me, and I'm thinking of DIY replacing it myself. However, I note that there is very limited space to remove and replace the low beam bulb as the battery block is in the way.

It seems removal of the headlights is mandatory due to the very limited space for you to remove the lamp covers.

Anyone has replaced the left headlights without disconnecting and removing the whole set of headlight?
*
hi bro..the best way for you to replace left bulb is to remove the headlight. can be done in less than 10 mins. just remove the clips on your grill, and loosen the 2 nuts on the headlamps. then apply some pressure to pull out the headlamp.

Regarding the K&N or OEM air filter, which one is better? Is that K&N filter will reduce fuel consumption?
*
definitely k&n is better as it allows higher air flow and it can be used for life as it can be maintained from time to time every 10k km. You can clean it with the K&N cleaning Kit. In terms of fuel consumption, not significantly lower.

Hi all, newbie here just a single question to ask,to there got any way v assembling t drl without void our warranty?
And should I tinted 1st then coating or coating 1st b4 tinted?think will get my white forte d week^^
*
Actually it's better for you to do tinting 1st, coz tinting wil leave shampoo and water stain on your car and screens. Hence, when u do coating later on, your car will b look clean n shiny:). Jst my 2 cents

Anybody have any idea about Permanon? The latest version is Plantinum which claimed better than earlier?

Hi bro..platinum is better as it has higher substance of Permanon Substance, hence making the coating harder and if it is applied on the car body, it will be shinier. However, Permanon Germany doesn't advise the application of Platinum on screens and glass. For Diamond, it can be applied for any surface being car body, dashboard, rims, door panels and all screens. biggrin.gif

Anyway bro, the link above is not the link to the authorized wholesaler of Permanon in Malaysia. Kindly visit the link below:

Hi, Thanks for the answer.
Yours better or Sierre Glow / PPS?  thumbup.gif

Well, every product has its own strengths..for Permanon, this coating is a leading-edge High nanotech development in terms of surface-protection. Well it's a better replacement of waxes as Waxes offer no long term protection for your car because it break down quickly when exposed to the sun's harsh UV Rays. Waxes also get sticky in the hot sun and actually attract and hold dust and dirt next to your paint which is why freshly waxed cars seem to get dirty so quickly. Permanon is a brilliant 21st century surface protection for your car that protect paint from environmental contaminants; such as bird shit, tree sap, acid rain and other contaminants. Permanon coating can withstand heat of up to 300 Celsius which protect your car from harsh UV Rays. It also enhances the shininess of your ride as well Can last up to 1 year.

Most importantly, it is quite affordable to get your car protected with only rm168 per set which can coat up to 2 cars.

anyone has problems with your headlamps bulbs dying?
*
I think it's a common problem for Forte. I think you may wanna try HID. I hv been using HID on my Forte for bout 1 yr and hv no issue with it.
