1. No. you only start paying installment after the bank release the full amount of money. The bank will release usually after the car is registered. then you wait for bank to send you welcome letter and inform you your installment date. usually a few weeks after getting your car.
2. after signing agreement you dont need to pay the balance yet until you receive the car.

I cant remember whether the car registration card will be returned to you by the bank or not. I remember the 1st time the bank hold on the card and I have to write and go to the branch to get the car registration so that can do road tax renewal.

I got my BK for RM 800. Dunno whether it is PU, PP or ABS. It has Forte word on it.

Driving through bumps should be ok. But you have to be very careful at car packs with deep slope. I sorta scratch my front BK a bit when going down into Bukit Tinggi basement car park. Nothing too serious. Not noticeable. But when u feel underneath the BK, you an feel the scratch. And I was quite slow as well going down.

Hi, has anyone tried to play MP4 from DVD on the new HU? I burned some youtube MP4 into DVD together with some AVI movies. The AVI movies automatically start playing in DVD mode. But the MP4 cannot play. Tried to browse for the MP4, cannot find also. Is it only MP4 can be played using thumbdrive?

And for those who has successfully played MP4 from their thumbdrive, can advise what is the format of MP4? I understand there maybe a slight difference between all the .MP4 videos. Also what thumbdrive do u all use? SANdisk? China brand? I understand we need to format to FAT.

BTW the USB port can charge my iPhone but cannot play anything from it. I thought USB port shld detect iPhone as an external storage.

When I use the cable supplied with the phone and connect it to the port inside the glove compartment, the new HU can play all the MP3 in my iPhone but not the videos. Anyone managed to get the videos working?

BTW, anyone experience tat the boot lever underneath your seat - u need to pull really hard until the end then ur booth will only open? i tried and tried cannot. then one last try i pull really hard and all the way up then the boot can open. scary. Also the button on the remote doesn't seem to working properly. Have to press few times then the boot can open.

Luckily my princess fav movies are all in AVI. Now she wants to go sit in my car and watch the movie. Dont wats the difference between watching on TV vs in the car. But all my fav is in 1280x720 MP4. haiyahh...

Hmmm... then I think need to ask the SC to check during my 1st service. Coz seem cannot detect the signal. and i see also the light on the remote doesnt show when i press on the open boot button.

BTW my car also got funny sounds coming i think from the dashboard esp when the road is uneven... dont know whether wan to fix it or not. scared they open up later become worse...

So far the left pulling seem ok. slight pull to the left. dunno shld let them look into it or not. read from some forumer after fixing worse...

What's your experience in using the GPS that comes with the new HU so far? It seems that whenever you start the app, it will display a message that you need to click on agree b4 can proceed. And it seem a bit slow in connectng a first. After connecting it seems ok. Maps quite updated.

Mine is map is 2012F July 2012.

Your SA shld provide u with the whole registration info.

My case my SA gave me the info but then told me that I have to go to Naza Solution office in Jln 225 to update the firmware. Reach there they tried to get the GPS working but cannot. Blame it on my front tinting which was only 2Mil. They had to take out the whole HU and open the door so that the unit can register itself. The signal very weak. Even now first start up the GPS thingy damn slow.

So make sure they updated and initialize the GPS b4 you tint your windscreen.

When I get my car my SA told me GPS cannot use yet. Have to go to Naza Solution to get new firmware. I dont know what they did but they say the GPS cannot initialize. So they had to take out the whole HU from the dashboard and expose the antenna. Apparently the GPS antenna is just above the clock.

Waited there for almost an hour.

Even now when I start the GPS seem very slow to initialize. Dunno whether tinting is the problem. Mine is only 2Mil front windscreen.

I'm using raytech CS85. For the front windscreen I think is lower 2 Mil tint.

Forte with BK definitely not lady car.

May not be. I was told by Naza Solution people the antenna is inside the dashboard where the clock is. I put my tissue box there and the guy removed it and say that's where the antenna is....
