Hi, I have a question I hope you all can help. I have my Kia Forte 1.6L for 2 years already, running well and smooth. I have a question on engine oil. Can I use this Elf Molygraphite 15W 50 for Forte? I read the manual and it is recommended 5W20 or 5W30, but according to the chart in the manual and considering the temperature in Malaysia, I was wondering can I use 15W 50, hope you all can help enlighten me, a big thanks first

I have a few friends that bought the 1.6, they tell me that they "should have bought the bloody 2.0", but unfortunately they are youngsters that drive to the next traffic light as if they are in an audition for fast n furious 6.. so not so useful for me to use their comments as benchmark

Also I saw in the forum that 2.0's FC isn't a big diff compared to 1.6, that was also a big deal breaker for me

would u guys recommend me to buy second hand forte let's say year 2010? Is it forte made in year 2010 also having 5years warranty? If so,it cover for spare parts repair as well?

Really disappointed owning this Kia. After 1 year the condition not so good already. Initially went against advices don't buy Korean car but I think it is true. Jap cars are more reliable even they are boring. I am planning to change end of next year & get rid of this stupid car & change my nick from "fourteh" to "hondteh", "toyoteh" or even "peugeoteh"!

I was offered a Forte 2.0 2010 for around 75k. Do u guys think this is a good buy? Is the 2010 2.0 version 4-speed or 6-speed?
