Just got my Forte 1.6sx (Clear White) from KS LOH.. Tuesday went to sign the loan agreement and today got car already... I went and took my car during my work break... Excellent and Reliable..

Opted for one without bodykit... So I don't over stress when using "Malaysian" Roads.. LOL

Planning to change my rims soon.. But first will be getting 3M Tint tomorrow...

Got to go back to work now! Potong stim..

That's why we called it Fully Automatic Air Conditioning System (or also known as FATC for KIA cars). It will select the outside air intake mood when the system detects only small difference in between outside air temperature & your set temperature (say u set at 26C & the outside air temp is 28C). This is happen to maintain a precise temperature control inside the cabin.

Try this..set your temp to 20C & below especially on a hot day (in Auto mode of course). I bet the internal air circulation mode will be selected by the aircond system (& also a face blow mode). & then, try raise your temp setting to anywhere near the outside air temperature, u will notice that the outside air intake mode will be selected by the aircond system instead (face & feet blow might be selected automatically by the system also). By this exercise, i'm sure u will understand how the Forte aircond system works & behave

p/s : press the internal air circulation button in Auto mode to manually select this function. The AUTO indicator will disappear to indicate that u already select one (or more) to be in manual control. Take not that, though the AUTO indicator disappear, the other controls (such as fan speed & blower direction) is still in auto mode. This setting will be permanent unless u set it Auto again or when u cabut the battery..hehe.

yes..is impossible..so if syg emblem KIA/NAZA..no need custom grill lor..hehehe

Hi bro, please share with us how effective are your modifications below coz I want a bit more ommph from my 1.6SX 

1. Pivot MEGA RAIZIN (voltage stabilizer)
2. Pivot VCAPA
3. UTR Metal Flow air filter
4. Denso Iridium spark plug
5. HKS grounding cable
6. Lightweight rims - change to 16" or to lightweight 17"?

If you had done it step by step, you can tell the performance of each mod. As an overall, did it increase hp, torque, FC & fun much?  Thanks!

Just curious any one of you have try out the computer diagnostic checking for your forte ? Because i did complaint of high fuel consumption at puchong SC, then they ask me to perform some checking on full electrical component on the car by plug in a computer if i'm not mistaken. And it is chargeable around rm120.

i just wonder will it worth go for it ? anyone have try this before ?

Thanks for reply. I know. The sad case is, both also bent. The case is, the passenger side both rim are bent in the 1month. Hit a big hole on the road. Then i chg one with spare and the other one repair at tyre shop. After few months, the repair one bent again. So thats what happening.

I ask d, it cost rm1600 for 1 rim, if bought it frm kia service center. OMG feeling.

hey guys..i realise something today..ive put my iphone n together with the smartkey in the same pocket, n i couldnt open the door..so i tot that there is a problem..i took it out to press the key to unlock the door..it unlocked the i put it back to the same pocket...this time i couldnt start the engine..it states there no key detected..this time i removed the phone n left the key in my pocket n it works..i think the iphone has too much inteference..anyone experienced this b4?

Just got my 1.6SX White today... can confirm that infamous pull left problem still exist.. sigh.. but overall.. satisfied...

If your car usage is low, 1.6 will do. Getting a 2.0 might waste your money coz u not use it to the full...
Agreed..but, there's always a but..hehe. On the other way round, no matter HOW heavy footer u are, the 'KICK' is not AS HIGH as the 2.0 & the overtaking maneuver will surely not as quick as the 2.0 

This argument will not have an end i guess

anyway, will warranty void if I installed locktech?

Hi guys, I was thinking to get a year 2010 2.0SX at JB area (went to see the actual car at 2nd hand car shop already)

condition wise acceptable

my concern right now is:-

the previous owner lost the service book, and the 2nd hand shop SA also not guarantee the 2.0SX is whether still under warranty or not? is the 2.0SX (year 2010) also comes with 5-year warranty? i afraid it will void the warranty if the first owner never follow the service schedule. how can i check for the warranty for that car is still under NAZA Kia?

and if i really buy that car, i will change the number plate as well, will it affect the warranty for the car as well?

Can but have to find a new vehicle to transfer the number like a new motor or ask runner find vehicle that can accept ur old number, maybe pay the owner so money.....
