Any 1.5SE owners hear a "tak" sound when your car goes past 20km/h mark after starting engine and then as you accelerate, you don't hear the sound anymore? I read that some owners said this is the infamous "koto koto" sound and most SC will know about it alredy.

Anyway, today I sent my car in to replace the 3 parts for this. However, as I left the SC, I noticed this sound again. I returned to the SC and have the technician do a test ride with me. When he heard the "tak" sound, he said that is not the "koto koto" problem but instead is the ABS kicking in and that it is normal. He described to me the actual "koto koto" sound but I don't recall my car having that sound before and I don't know why the SC said my car had this problem when I first sent it in for inspection. So, I had 3 parts replaced for nothing actually

So, is this true? Those of you with ABS, do you get hear this sound?

I am relieved as well ..

BTW, the technician asked me to spread the word around so that people know that this sound is normal.

compressor kick in sound is normal. the "tak" sound i mentioned is not from switching on the aircond so i dont think is compressor. maybe yours is different problem.

What does it mean by stiff ride?

anyone with silver myvi that has done some stickers or some physical modification? got any photos to share?

Just wnt to see how it looks like...mostly I see are the bumblebees or white but very few silvers la..
