Mikecmy - my myvi was tinted free by the sales person, 2007 april purchase. It's up to sales person I suppose.

Side note.

My 07 myvi had very noisy bearing problems for about a month+.
Got louder and louder. It used to happen only when I step on accelerator, but it got to the point where as long as the engine was running the noise is there.

At first it sounded like water gargling, then it became a constant grinding like sound.

Last week went to workshop to ask what's the problem.
Diagnosed that water pump bearing has issues.

Today reach my service interval and sent for servicing.

Confirmed water pump got problem.

Changed it, fan belt, coolant.
Oil change and battery change since battery already 2 years + and charge weak.

Also, my last calculated mileage since I got really easy on the gas due to the waterpump issue was 453km / 32L RON95.

95% of the time below 2.5k rpm.

mostly 80km/h highway. With 30min of jam everyday to work.

Crap that's expensive.
Why didn't you go to other dealers?

And the key is to approach new sales people.

mizeily - mine also faces that problem when idling.

It shakes a bit, not mounting problem.

Neither is it the spark plugs.

Not sure if it's ignition, but i don't find any backfiring or anything of that sort.

Shouldn't be, especially today after they replaced the water pump.

The foreman didn't find anything unusual.
I'll ask them tomorrow.

if cannot start, u can ask ur foreman to come with a spare battery to test first.
if really is the battery then replacement.

I changed mine today for RM200. MF battery, with magic light or whatever they call it.

How long have you had the battery? Mine was 2 years before I changed it.

A month ago, it was showing signs of weakening, where i crank and it couldn't start immediately.

Foreman notified me today that charge levels not too good, and I drive the car everyday. So just replace.

RM200 for 2 years is okay.

3 years is about time man.

You can get cheaper batteries, also note that ur battery can use as 'trade in'.
Can get some $ back as battery can be recycled and worth some $.
