hey guys, i got my car somewhere last November, 1.3 EZI, and my fc is quite a cutthroat.. my full tank cost roughly around rm60 and it goes 320km max. my car usually goes between 8.9-10.0km/l. Is there any way to improve my fc? or is it just my bad luck getting a high fc car?
Added on June 27, 2012, 2:53 amoh and im a not that much of a heavy footer. and i use my car to go to class, get some food and the occasional trip to the mall every once in a while.

i usually service my car when its at the specified mileage or when the specified period of month has lapsed. My mileage is 8k, but ill be servicing it soon (3rd service) as the period is nearly due.
as for the second question, maybe. i usually inflate it every other week, depending on my schedule. is that sufficient?
and nope, i rarely keep my car idle. usually ill turn off the engine when im waiting for people.

perhaps, but isnt it a bit too extreme that my full tank fo rm60 can only get me 320km max (if im lucky, if im not, its 300km).
any suggestion on how to improve my fc?

QUOTE(jun_ng_1208 @ Jun 27 2012, 09:57 AM) Haha I don't think there is any here Are you one of the BOT Myvi here? For AT 1.3 Myvi, the worst I've heard was 380km with full tank...perhaps you can try by reseting the ECU by removing the ECU1 fuse @ the fuse box behind the drawer for 2 hrs then plug it back If you're on stock 14' wheels then keep your tyres at a maximum 32psi pressure & try to always shift to 'N' when you're waiting at traffic light because staying at 'D' always hurts the FC as well. Service the car on time makes a different too what does resetting the ecu do? and is it safe to just unplug n plug it? i have a big history on tweaking stuff and the end result would be the item will get broken... Added on June 28, 2012, 5:38 amand just a question, have anyone ever thought of remapping their Myvi's ECU to obtain a better fc (instead of performance)? by any chance, is there any other way to reset the ECU without unplugging the aforementioned wire? and would it really help, to a certain extent, raise my fc? i haven't had the luxury of hearing other Myvi's having such a bad fc as mine.

Personally, the only flaw with the Myvi LB's interior is that it lacks storage compartments... Something that most Proton cars have in abundance of. And heck, even the previous Myvi has more storage compartments...
So, does anyone know any accessories that might help me increase the storage compartments of my Myvi? (dont recommend me those cheap plastic stuff that isnt durable, had a few bad luck w em before).

QUOTE(Area51SE @ Jul 10 2012, 01:52 AM) True, the new Myvi lacks of storage compartments. However since I'm not a person who stores much, Normally I would just store my things in the passanger side storage compartment. Additional storage would be the armrest that was added which I could store more things inside. Armrest that looks something like this Ah yes, a nice suggestion indeed, but not one I haven't thought of before. I've been skeptical to install it for two reasons: 1. It's hard to find a good quality armrest. Most I've seen are made out of materials that doesn't seem to be able to last for an age. 2. Upon installation, it look's as if it would come in the way whilst pulling or releasing the handbrake. Would it not? (I stand to be corrected for this is just my assumption based on pictures I've seen) Where did you get your's installed and for what price? What of the quality?
