Ah. Ok, thanks . About the IAFM problem, does it lie with only the PEs or it also affects some IAFM based non-elegance models? . This post has been edited by TDUEnthusiast: Jun 10 2012, 08:46 PM

Alright, I guess I'm gonna have to see if the issue exists with mine then. Hopefully it doesn't .

Anything bad if I delay the replacement of the belt tensioner in my Persona? Currently it's worn out and it's causing all the cit2 sound. As for my next engine oil, I'm eyeing the Liqui Moly SS 10W-40 . Currently dunno what engine oil is used, and dunno how much is in the engine . QUOTE(xandras @ Jun 11 2012, 08:24 PM) Cakap la.. Then mana boleh kira ini macam... Not all engine oil gives same effect on different engines ma.. U mau? Bikin 1 list la.. Then I get all together.. Added on June 11, 2012, 8:26 pm Belt putus engine gg Check la ur engine oil level... Can't really get an accurate reading since my car is normally parked at the front of my house, which is a mini slope. When I'm out doing stuff I usually don't remember to check.

Even with touching up it'll still pretty obvious, especially from an angle. I got a similar dent like that on my left passenger door cause some deekhed couldn't bother controlling his Saga's door. It's not as bad as that though, but the paint's chipped.

. To UR strut bar users of the Persona, how much better is your car to you with the Ultra Racing strut bar installed? Is it a recommended purchase, and 2 points or 3 points?

Any problem if I perform engine braking on an automatic Persona by shifting the gear stick to 3 until it's slow enough before switching to 2 to slow down even further before I finally apply the brakes to stop completely / cut a lil more speed? Will this cause excessive wear on the transmission?

QUOTE(abong8 @ Jun 19 2012, 09:16 PM) For what purpose u need to perform such behaviour? I usually do that to slow the car down without using the brakes when there's a speed bump coming up, or I have to stop at a junction before using the brakes. . Anyway, I do that to reduce my brakes usage. But if this is bad then I guess I'll just stick to braking only without moving the gear stick to force a downshift. QUOTE(zapdos9 @ Jun 19 2012, 09:40 PM) Do you even feel that much of engine braking in auto? I think by the time your engine die of high revving, your brake disc also haven't skim to 50% of it. Actually yes, I do. I do that at speeds below 70 though. Above that I won't see a fast reduction in speed. You should try it .

QUOTE(zapdos9 @ Jun 19 2012, 09:56 PM) Although sometimes I do it for fun but the engine braking is too little. Try experiencing a manual's then you'll know what i mean by little. I did experience engine braking with manuals before, but on a Kancil when I was trying to get my driving license . Currently with the Persona it does reduce enough speed for me to just use the brakes for a bit before being slow enough to get pass speed bumps without leaving my tyres behind. 4th gear to 3rd is not that powerful indeed, but once I'm at speeds safe enough to downshift to 2 the engine braking power really starts to show.

QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Jun 21 2012, 05:22 PM) price for 3 point and 2 point big different? . Well, the cheapest offer I got was RM110 for 2 point and RM140 for 3 point. The difference to me is not very big . I didn't go for the RM140 3 point strut bar offer though cause the COD location wasn't convenient for me.

With the 3 point strut bar the car feels more solid. I like doing hard turns sometimes knowing that the Persona can handle such stuff . The 3 point strut bar does make it better but overall you won't feel much difference.
