Y u didnt do that then? ungly b1tch like that should be removed from the road.. Buat takut orang saja..
I prefer PU.. PU even when accident also wont crack so easily.. Its rubber based so it can rebound easily.
As for ABS Plastic, ABS plastic is the type that is currently fitted to ur car now. It can tolerate a higher level of shocks and force. Standard Promote is only Fibre if not mistaken.. THose are the cheapest and easiest to break. Just a slight bump and it will crank and need to cement and repaint it back .
Me too.. hehe.. I study in KL.. Kampar too ulu for me. hehe..
Sounds normal.. In kampar its all short distance travelling and a lot of start stops for ur car engine.. So FC will be in the 9L/100km range..
Another Lucky Black owner joining soon.. hehe..
Not exactly.. Brand does not really justify everything.. The best is to know what is the rebound and dampening rate of the shocks.
*
KL is just too over "city" for me. haha
I think I will be playing all around the KL and left out my studies.

Definitely simota.. With the performance almost par with k&n, easier maintenance and at a fraction of the price, definitely simota is a wiser choice..

hmmm.. Can try Continental Premium Contact 5 or Goodyear Efficient Grip.. But shd be around Rm420 a piece like that.. Good performance in wet and dry, and low rolling resistance cos its touring tires.. and low noise too..
Dunlop now i think going to pupus from malaysia.. last time when Dunlop was sold together with Sime tires.. after continental joint venture with it, now dunlop left alone by itself.
Yokohama also not bad.. Im using it now.. I upgraded to NS70 size..
Original size in our car is DIN45R. The biggest size that can go into our car without modification is DIN55R. NS70 will require you to cut out a bit of the base plate so that it can fit in the oversize battery into it.
Redline is stainless steel filter..  Higher airflow at the expense of Poorer filtration. Would suggest u to take Works Engineering/Simota instead.. Better filtration but slightly lesser air flow..

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Jul 11 2012, 12:53 PM)
Simple to say. More air = more power. Its like turbocharging ur car.. U force more air in so it can generate more power. Better filtration over long term helps a lot .. Such as u dont need to clean the throttle body so frequently. Msian roads are dusty.. So its very easy for dust to accumulate very fast if filtration is poor..

I have a friend who drives satria neo and uses K&N filters. He never reoil using the oiling kit, only wash and replace everytime. Ended up his car 40k km+ only the filter koyak.. He didnt know till he felt throttle response a bit slower than normal.. So later open up the throttle body time super dirty and can see the filter got 2 patches which is very thin and bocor..

Works so far no such problem for me. Well for a start i dont wash my filter.. I just bang it hard on the floor and it gets 80-90% of the dust and debris out. Dont really need to bother the last 10% of dirt. Its going to get dirty back anyways. FREQUENT cleaning is more important than how clean u can get the filter.

If u were to get K&N and reoil everytime, how many times are u willing to reoil? How often are u willing to reoil? If i were to clean my air filter every 3-4k km and u reoil every 10k km, which would give better overall performance? Thats what u shd consider.

Is considering to buy the simota now. haha

haha..i accident twice in 4 months..my car 15august 1st year anniversary..
the first accident was because a  myvi suddenly got into my lane and emergency brake...my car was moving slowly around 30kmh because its jam and and raining...i dunno why la these people..we keep a distance between our car and infront car to be safe..the kind of small car like myvi and viva will always getting in when they see an opening..thus..i hit the brake and locked the tyre..and hit the myvi side..end up..mostly my car patah braket..have to change many things..like radiator..bumper..both headlight..hood, air filter box..etc..etc..estimated repair 4k..so i claimed my insurance since the car is still new....haha..
i use allianz..mostly 3 weeks can get car back..
second one..same process for insurance..send to their panel workshop..
give them my police report,
ic,drviing lisence,
insurance policy/cover note..
and they will settle for you..just need to wait until they approve the estimation..after approve then you can take your car back..

if your driving lisense not even 2 years..or you have P..u need to pay penalty..u need to bear 10% of the repair cost..

for my case..i request them to fully paint my car..including the stripe and side mirror..since insurance will cover half car only..so i need to top up around 600 for full car paint..if i got money i would go buy oem bodykit and trd spoiler then ask them to spray and install for me..haha..

Added on July 11, 2012, 5:17 pm
if you can see a hole on the panel..then okay lo..my car..dunt even have hole..u know where the whole is?
the other side of the car on the panel..but the correct hole on the body and bumper are on the right side..just happen the panel/bar on the other side..sucks proton..
*
This?? LOL. manage to get a picture of it. hehe icon_rolleyes.gif
