I have read about this common problem on the first page, n my persona do have this knocking sound when driving on uneven surface or passing small pothole or bonggol n etc.. so im wondering if the cause of the sound is from the arm or it is the problem stated..

Why does it have to do with brake pad????? e

I'm saying the depth of brake pressing.
for e.g
usually press 1/4 of the depth, but now I need to press all the way (6/8)only the braking take place.

I'm saying the DEPTH of brake pressing.

i give another example..

from 0 to 10
0 brake pedal is not pressed
10 brake pedal is full pressed.

I need to press the brake pedal to level 7 onwards, only the brake pad make contact with the brake rotor.
from 0 to 7, basically the brake pad make no contact with rotor.

0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10

i was asking is there any way to shorten the depth.. for e.g. from 0 to 4 or 5.

fyi, i'm using IMP Platinum brake pads since march, before this, was RapidStop and Bendix MKT.

if u purposely brake hard... i think it will lock... i mean purposely... else it wont happen.. but i still brake at a safe distance...

She only wants to pay 50. The damage cause is way worst then that.

I was in the midst of looking for a new persona (H) line, but seems that the proton edar website does not have this?

Anyone in here knows where I can get  a new H line persona?

Which that does means, if I were to make purchase on the Persona, I wold be only left with the B choice??

Mhh.. By the way not sure if this is a right place to ask, if you guy's were to have a budget of RM50++ K to choose..

Which one would you go?? Myvi? Persona (B)?? or any others??

Maybe I want to sell my h line pe but then again with preve still problematic, I guess my well polished and maintained pe will still do. I'm actually quite please with it. Comfortable leather interior with increased torque thru lcp, very comfortable with its stock braking (tho now use fbk pad, same with stock but no brake dust), spongy....don't really feel it, braking good enuf for my everyday 100 to 130 drive. Cold air cond, a bit noisy on engine but less heat due to vkool and silver coloured car. Great handling, a bit small on seat but with leather steering and seat,.quite luxurious feel, not the high end luxury but poor man luxury is better than empty thin car feel.

and i realized that the  B line model doesn't come with ABS and EBD?

and airbag also not included in the B line model?

FC you can check from fuelly.com. Our FC king is Abong and he do not use NGV.

Got hybrid still want to change to NGV? No need to brag lah. 

Haibeat car very sensitive to weight, a bit more weight than normal in the car and the battery mileage drops a lot and the engine will suffer to pull also..  ended up not really low..

Btw, there is another problem, At first my water spray (I dont know what's that call, spray already then my wiper will move one.    ) can be function nicely. But now, I don't know why nor matter how i tried, it just cant spray out any water.   

The fuel consumption calculation in our car is probably derived from engine load. It continues to estimate fc even when ngv is used.

today i brought own spark plugs and engine oil for 40k service at sc. the amoi said only engine oil customer can bring at their own.. so, i refused for spark plug changing.

so, im planning to change spark plug at other workshop. it wont affect the programming rite? i mean ecu or tech2 related stuff...

mechanic and some frends mention that HWL suspension is best for persona.. isit?
