Hi any experts here that can help me out?

I would like to install an amplifier and a sub woofer. Can I just get a sub woofer without an amp? Also what are these channels mean in an amplifier.

Any brand or model recommendations? I like it compact too...

My budget is around RM2000.00. Basically, I just want to get a low bass in my ride for jazz..

There is an Alpine amplifier with 5 channel...one of the channel is for the sub woofer..so you save space..instead of having another amp just for sub woofer...

no u cant have a woofer without an amp.

amplifier channels are for the number of speakers u want to run.

for subwoofers u can either get a monoblock (single channel amp) or a two channel amp (which will be bridged into one channel)

to save space look for a good quality 8, 9 or 10 inch sub in a small sealed box
