What's special about Sierra 313U

1) Speed: LTE up to 100Mbps, 3G (DC-HSPA+, HSPA+, HSPA, UMTS) up to 42Mbps.
2) Dual internal omni antenna - better reception and sensitivity power.
3) Support using dual external 3G antenna - MIMO technology!
4) Solid chrome internal body wrap - much better than Huawei/ZTE full plastic body!
5) Rotating usb connector - for conveniency and adjusting reception angle easily! And it's chrome made, much solid than Huawei plastic made rotating usb connector.

yes, zte mf820 with a standard clear specification is definitely ok for malaysia LTE. unlike huawei that in same model number but got several different band version make ppl headache ...

E372.. no need lah, Maxis also clearing their e372 stock now for next year LTE

nope, these are pure modem function only. LTE modem is very new product.

even the Huawei E355 3g modem + wifi router only exist "how many years?" after the 3G era... maybe same concept LTE product will be available at later time not that long as previously in 3G era but won't be so soon.

huawei lte modem also seems lack of that

only sierra confirmed still having external connector and somemore support dual antenna MIMO technology.

besides, some said mdma don't built in DC-HSPA+ connectivity, wasting modem if run at single carrier with dual carrier modem.

didn't try any.

313u is 4G LTE modem with newer chipset, existing 3G only router may not support any new 4G LTE modem. may need new chipset router also to work with LTE modem.

malaysia sure got LTE, but not this year, next year.

sierra 313u LTE frequency band not applicable in malaysia, for US or western countries ok.

if want the one best suit Malaysia LTE, it will be ZTE MF680: 2600MHz + 1800MHz, exact the same to Malaysia and Singapore.

i don't think existing 3g router able to support newer LTE modem. may need firmware upgrade or complete overhaul of new chipset in the router instead. next year should have 4g/3g router starting emerge in market.
