usually does previous model have price drop after new model released?
*
Nope. Noticed trend with sony cameras. Instead of model update with same pricing like olympus with its epl-1 to idk....8? phasing out older models, they simply release new iteration and calls it "alternative" upgrade while maintaining old model as "alternative" budget model, like the forever never phased out a6000......since 2014.

guys, im using mk1 now. wife complain hard to transfer to phone. should i upgrade 2nd sony a5100 / a6000 or just buy wifi sd card. what i like about the rx100 is the size. really easy to carry. about the picture quality, im still satisfied with the camera.
but maybe the camera is old already and it is time to upgrade to APS-c.

Real question is u want to upgrade cause of features or image quality?

Even older apsc/ff camera will outperform rx100 with right lens and technique. But if u don't do post processing or study how to edit picture, even smartphone picture will come up nicer than FF camera.

Even if the camera has WiFi or Bluetooth feature, often times u would rather just transfer from sd card cause its a hassle to wirelessly transfer and the amount of battery power it drain is not worth.

Same situation here... currently own a A6000, but a bit too bulky for holidays. Also wondering whether it is a downgrade if I change to RX100/G5X. So what did you all buy in the end?
*
If u r still sticking with a6000 kit lens, not much of downgrade. Just the pricing bit a bit of a downer since if u can get some prime combos with Apsc at that pricing.

But if u value portability there is no actual minus point if u go rx.

hi...want to ask experts about bokeh.

how to focus all subjects without blurring any parts of the bodies?
want to blur the background only.
*
As in the leg also cannot blur? Then Photoshop. Technically speaking if u want to blur our that floor it will feel off regardless cause they are literally on the ground.

so must u narrow aperture and blur the background using photoshop?
*
.......... If u want it that way...... But that's not my "artistic" preference.

Advice u try different angle and research tutorial on how to do macro toy photography.
