i hv asked a shop in time square. the uncle offer me rm1200 for RX100 . come with memory card and case. the price is extremely cheap . duno why he is selling so cheap. all other shop offer 1650 -1699. but the uncle said no stock in his shop now. if i confirm and want,  then he will go n take from other branch, need to wait for one day. dono whether it is reliable

I'm interested in getting this camera. However, I'm undecided between this and Canon G7x. Purpose of the camera would mainly be for portrait. So specs wise the Canon would be better. But is the more expensive Sony better? I would like to hear from real users. Opinions? Video recording is not to be considered.
