all NEW car have problem ..
yes .. i mean all ... even the ultimate car ..

why T,H,N lesser problem compare to our local car ..

because the car is not launch in msia in the first place..

like the currenct CIVIC .. it has been in US market for some time d ..

FC sure sucks..

i already explain many times..
low RPM does not translate to low FC ..
when the car running not enuf power to push .. u keep low rpm.. it is struggling .. it will take more fuel.

instead cruising at the correct power will give a better FC ..

i mean FC doesnt really mean good ..

if u look at our dyno chart.. below 2k .. u only have like 11 ~ 12kg of torque..

for a car that size . it is struggling all the time..

Keypoint to good FC is not low RPM ..
instead ... like says u cruise at 80km/h ... doesnt means u change gear fast fast then 5th gear at 50km/h .. slowly climb to 80km/h ...

instead i tekan .. quickily hit 80km/h .. then i maintain there..  my FC will be better then u struggling at low RPM ..
get it ?

in other words ...

if u trying to climb from 60km/h --> 80km/h .. using 5th gear (lower RPM) vs 4th gear .(higher RPM) ... the 4th gear one will save more fuel .

I told u before? No? break the middle only le.. the clips not important for the ori grille as the one that holds it are the screws (2 for logo and 1 at each side)

do u know u can call tow car .. ur insurance... 3 times a year.. free towing within 30km

just call them says habis minyak .. ask them tow back to ur house..

did you guys re-tint the car?
the eco tint comes with the car is it ok?

i got few translucent line on my front and passenger side... lol! din bother to look & fix it anyway. haha

mine was windscreen.hard to see, but under sunlight, it can be very annoying as it is right infront of my eyes.

but the side windows tint is superb.

albiet with some scratches from the rubber lining, it does a good job in keeping the heat out.

I manage to go above 4k  a few times in D mode, but i heard that max torque from our car is at 4.5k.

I think our CVT will always change the ratio to maintain a low rpm as constant as possible...

Konklusi:  d mode sucks

Really weird you're not going over 4k. Unless in N that is.

Rev 4k in N. Slam into D. Wheels spin. Tap tap into 1. Rev to 6.5k. Tap hold into D. Settle.

I've hit the 6.5k rpm CVT limit.

Often. In D mode of course (malas to flip gears).

It's like, the more you mod the more you curse that number. Truth be known the car accelerates like a slow ass beech over 150kmh at 6k and above - the car's optimum torque lies around 4.5-5k after all.

I regret not waiting for the 2.0MT. Or properly learning how to drive manual to begin with.
