Cause it's co-developed maa, Toyol owns a holding stake in Scoobie nowadays last I checked. Major stakeholder can do whatever it well damn pleases amirite?
That said, Potong had explicitly mentioned that it WAS INITIALLY involved in the development of the 9th Gen Lancer (however minor the role) from the start - with plans on using the platform + its own sheetmetal on top -, before it was forced to abandon its involvement due to financial uncertainty.
Only to later re-brand the 9th Gen as the Inspira as its low volume seller. Bla bla bla, you know the rest.
So, if we CONSIDER that Potong had a hand, however small, in the development of the 9th Gen Lancer, the Inspira might be more GT86 then "Malaysians" (sic) would like to think.
But really. I have no fucuking idea why "rebranding" is such a fucuking bad thing. It's not that Mitsu is now suing Potong for theft of intellectual property or something lol.
They made a DEAL. It's complete-fucuk-ly legal. So?
Stiff Rings - Front Set (5pcs)

aka Kok Rings
Damn Plotong,
Do u still remember the first corner u took with your Inspira?
Do u still wonder the first feel when u went over the road-hump?
Do you still remember the first left-right Swerve on your new ride???

And U-KNOW-WHAT
Kok-Rings settled it.
Did the same thing while driving back to home
Swerve, bump, swerve, uneven road
Steering-wheels response is NOW back to NEW Car form
