Hi,

I have recently installed grilles for the front door, sliding door and all the windows in my apartment about 4 months ago.
However, now I realized that the grilles are starting to rust, especially at the edges.
I already told the person who installed the grille for me but he simply put another layer of paint to cover it up.

Is there anyway for me to prevent rusting of the grille that doesnt cost so much money?
Can I just spray WD40 on the edges/joints?

*any feedback would be really appreciated.

It'll rush again as long as it exposed to air. Especially outdoor.

Try to roughen the surface with sandpaper, then apply metal primer & follow by paint. Lastly, apply another layer of gloss paint. smile.gif

Should last u for years if u do so.

No times. Paid ppl to do it. tongue.gif
No $. Do it urself. tongue.gif

Try to use epoxy paint to cover the rusty edge, should prevent it from further rusting & corrosion. Only not nice finishing.
