It's true that most owners don't know it but no no for dogs include grapes/raisins/chocolate/coffee/garlic/onions/macadamia nuts/cat food... looks harmless enuff but these can be deadly. Avoid the sugary/salty stuff as well, it's not good for them. The above are usually life threatening if your dog consume it in large quantities like the whole can of nescafe or a 1kg bar of chocolate. It's ok to treat them with small amounts once in a blue moon... or switch to healthy alternatives like bananas or dog biscuit or ice cubes. There is a bigger list here:- http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cl...&articleid=1030I hope this helps! edit: BTW feeding too much dog food will also cause problems like obesity and worst still bloat This post has been edited by aaronpang: Jan 11 2006, 06:14 PM

QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Jan 12 2006, 03:47 PM) normaly then will not eat it after they smell it dogs are carnivour right QUOTE(andythology @ Jan 15 2006, 05:30 PM) i nvr see dog that nvr eat fruits.. fruit is sweet, n dog loves sweetie.. Dogs are carnivore's period... eating fruits, vege and grass is optional what is not optional is meat Humans are omnivores some people live fine just by eating fruits and vege but a dog cannot live without meat and just survive on fruits and vege. Simply because they have a limitation in their ability to digest and metabolise fruits and vege. This site should help:- http://www.auntjeni.com/natural.htm

QUOTE(yuckfou @ Jan 16 2006, 12:49 AM) wonder if the durians smell super strong to them. some humans already cannot tahan, imagine their super sensitive nose. It depends I think dogs actually like some smelly smells, even some really yucky ones I caught my dog rolling in a dead rodent Dirty bugger have to bathe him all over again... then there is the butt smelling, etc you get the idea. Anyway don't feed them durians smell smell is enuff...
