Just learned something new today! Something that is no longer new to most here I believe - installing .apk files from external sources. I'm loving my first Android more each and every day!

QUOTE(PadeGP @ Jun 7 2012, 09:29 AM) bro.. can give full name for this apk application.. coz when i search.. a lot of application of apk.. There are many I believe. I'm using AppInstaller, not too sure if it's the best though, still new. wanna install also... hehehehe QUOTE(waveweaver @ Jun 7 2012, 09:38 AM) Mostly apk comes from direct source such as from the developer itself, xda, amazon or the apk official website. But many also comes from black market for side downloading. Be very carefull when downloading from this type of site. You might get a corrupt/re-written apk that might give problem to your phone later on. *nods nods* |

QUOTE(apisfires @ Jun 9 2012, 12:22 AM) QUOTE(akifariqarisya @ Jun 9 2012, 12:22 AM) Thanks for boosting my confidence to remove it! I feel like getting one that covers the front so that I can peel the SP off more comfortably. But I love its LED notification light so so much. |

QUOTE(ramz @ Jun 9 2012, 08:28 PM) the swype keyboard function sucks! all the new words i teach it gets removed once i reboot the phone. why like that? i learned to love swype from my s1 now they give a subpar swype for s3. eat shit samsung Yea I realised that too! Each time we reboot our phone, the memory gets wiped off. I remember reading some other forumers suggested to download this Swype Beta: http://beta.swype.com/android/agreement/ |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jun 9 2012, 10:27 PM) i think it looks very ugly to me.. naked is the best.. I want my S3 to remain in its handsome self too but I don't have the courage just yet. the swipe function in the samsung keyboard sucks. i used swype beta and it is business as usual. with screen on? if screen off then sth is wrong. cz my music player didn't drain as much battery as u.. How does the Swype Beta differ from the stock swipe? Guess I'll have to install it myself to tell the difference instead of asking around eh. Hehe. Cause from the website I see that it essentially is doing the same thing. |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jun 9 2012, 11:55 PM) it has been processed. only 1 picture will be produced. HDR usually combines 3 photos of different exposure. That's y u see the reminder in the phone to ask u not to move until the picture is captured. cz it's taking 3 photos with different exposure. Thanks sifu! |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Jun 10 2012, 01:05 AM) Root your phone and install Polaris apk. Otherwise nearly all the good Office doc is a paid app in market. Ah... Thanks thanks! Quite a bad news for me cause not planning to root anytime soon. Added on June 10, 2012, 1:16 am QUOTE(lemond @ Jun 10 2012, 01:13 AM) You using? Looks really good from the review! Thank you so much!
