Try do hard/factory reset and see if your problem solved.
Yes..S3 battery got NFC anttenna attached. Be carefull when buying 3rd party extended battery. Your NFC might not working when using that type of battery.

Yes..it can.

It is perfectly safe to freeze most of the default apps and all those Samsung Hubs apps.  Do not freeze core apps such as Contact, Calendar, TouchWiz
Even freezing GMail app is OK if you do not use this mail app.

finally i found out how to disable home button when screen lock.

when u lock screen.
must press power button to wake and swipe to unlock.
home button also  can wake the screen.
i dont like that. so disable the home screen wake.

does anyone notice that the brightness will become darker in full screen video playing mode ?? is it my s3 problem?

my s3's batt discharge very fast, mobile data on-the-go, wifi fully at home. any idea how to make sure batt doesnt drop that fast?
