anybody know in s3 whether skype works like video player. in video player u can play it as a pop-up screen and move it around while u do other things. i wonder if u can do that on skype too.

on pc i do it a lot. i just leave skype on the whole day while working on the pc. its like u are not alone although physically u are. i like to bring that experience into galaxy s3 too.

btw, i am ready to buy, but the price here in kuching is astrotious. i'll just wait till the price is reasonable.

not sure about video player, but group chat will be updated everytime someone says something. It runs in the background. you can kill it from the task manager, but it won't sign you out... i think.

i am talking about skype. noticed the word "group chat"? i've installed skype on my s3, but have yet to tried out the video call function, i mostly used group chat. i don't think it can pop out like the stock vid player though.

Instead of the normal 3G icon, I have an arrow icon pointing to the left with a "-" inside the arrow.
This is on the top left hand corner.
Anyone knows what it means?

I thought it was the indicator for 2G reception but when I put 2 units side by side, 1 has the 3G sign and the other the arrow icon pointing to the left.

Mostly apk comes from direct source such as from the developer itself, xda, amazon or the apk official website. But many also comes from black market for side downloading. Be very carefull when downloading from this type of site. You might get a corrupt/re-written apk that might give problem to your phone later on.

That because you disable you notification. Open your tray and enable your notification the the arrow will disappear.
