Well, I'm inspired by many case mods. So, I say to myself ,"Hey, why don't I do it myself since I have nth to do at home?!"
Since I don't use a case for my computer since it's so ugly. And the case was sitting there collecting dust, So I decide to mod it.
I'm 16 and it's going to be my birthday soon, but on budget. 16 year old boy always have budget (pssttt... if people so kind send me rotary tool to cut metal, I don't mind also) smile.gif I now have pliers , hammer , screwdriver , pocket knife and eletric drill.I decide to make a ripped case. Like where metal is bend and big chunks are missing with scratched sides. I started with the side panels. I use pliers to bend the side panel to make a hole. I want to mount a 120mm fan in there but it looks bad. I don't know now. Tomorrow, if got free time, go and use drill to cut out a big chunk to show graphic card. Here's pictures of the opening. This is my 1st time modding so don't expect anything that looks awesome and my other mod was a cardboard case and it was terrible.

Edit : The case is a powerlogic azzura 3000 . It's a cheap case, thats why I wanted to mod it

Well , I wanted to do that. but no saw tongue.gif and do you think a parents will allow their son to use a saw? Well , I'm going to buy white and black paint. I'm gonna spray white on the sides to make it look like paint is peeled off.

got learn then transfer to international school doh.gif. Yeah , I sorta have your idea. I'm planning to do a 80mm fan instead because no space. and then add a fan grill infront. But I have to order. I don't know who can supply me just 1 80mm fan and 1 80mm fan grill.

Ok I've done something today. Found out my drill was not powerful enough to cut into two layer of metal and went out to buy a metal cutter. It works but require alot of man power. I also painted it to look rusty. I orginaly wanted black and white (white to look as if the paint has been stipped off in some parts. But only got black and red in store. So I painted it black all over to coat it and then spray red at a longer distance to get almost a brownish colour and then coat it again with black with spots I find that is too 'red'. I also cut out a big chunk to show the graphic card. I made the side that I cut out look torn apart and rusted. Here's the picture (it looks better in person because I using iphone 4 to take picture. I'm not a photographer, so yeah -.- Last picture is flipped upside down (stupid camera).

yah sorry for the lack of update. I personally don't like my current case for one huge reason and that it is a top mounted psu. Plus my claw mark made my case now look like crap and I don't feel like showing it smile.gif Hopefully after finishing my IGCSE exam, I would resume it.
