I went to apple service provider in penang.
Asking regarding new iPad out of warranty exchange program price.
They told me that for all new iPad model is RM1300.
Anyone know different price?
Some forum mention that the price is 50% of retail price for the exchange program.
I feel not logic to have this price if ur new iPad model is wifi only 16GB model.

Lets say ur iPad screen crack, mostly no warranty, then apple will offer you out of warranty exchange program.
Mean change ur iPad with a refurbished set with the price of RM1300 for new iPad model.

Let's say like yours are iPad2 16GB Wifi with a crack screen, the screen replacement will normally charge at RM350-RM400 at some 3rd party shop. After the screen replacement you sell it off at RM700 and you will have to fork out another RM800 to buy a New Ipad 16GB wifi unit, 700-400=300, then 300+1200=New unit of the New iPad. Well, you do the math.

My new iPad model is 32GB wifi plus 4G which cost RM2199 then add another RM355 for warranty extension up to 4 year.
Basically my New iPad got 4 year warranty.
cause now have dent there, warranty status still unsure.
i go apple service provider at penang, they also can not confirm it.i already call apple, apple also told me to bring there for clarify.
now i wondering that apple service provider at penang really authorized by Apple.
When i call the apple service provider at penang,they say got dent mean no warranty,when at the center say 20% chance of claim if anything have manufacturer problem.
