QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jun 18 2014, 12:10 PM) you mean YES's LTE broadband? not launching yet, same 2600MHz but it is LTE-TDD, not LTE-FDD used by maxis/celcom/umobile/digi etc. both P1 (TM owned now) and YES LTE will be based on TDD (unless they change their mind, who knows)if your 4g modem support both FDD and TDD, then can use any 1 of them in future, easily change ISP if not satisfied. |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Jun 18 2014, 10:01 PM) i think they will continue to use Login ID and password system, so they are going ask oem huawei / zte or korea manufacturer to make them proprietary modem again? unlike p1 Mac ID system ( which easily been hacked ),. erm, TM seems not likely doing this way after take over P1 to tap into wireless market, they wanted roll out asap and being cost effective to make P1 profitable and contribute to TM group financial performance. they should use sim card base and existing LTE modem products without surprise. if such happenings, leaving Yes on island mode again ... |

QUOTE(haturaya @ Sep 18 2014, 10:14 PM) I've been using Huawei E5776s-32 with Celcom LTE. So far, solid rock with 4-5 devices connected. It even perform well in moving vehicle. E5776 is really a good gadget. Even Digi bundled MobiFi promotion also seeing the e5776 out of stock from their centre, got to wait new stock. |

u can test 'auto detection' first.
if not satisfied, back to 'Manual' country: malaysia telecom: celcom 3g/4g network: 'LTE mode' should appear in the drop down box then key in the APN name, dial up number at below. |

already select> Malaysia> Celcom: still only got wcdma/hspa and cdma only?
if so, this router firmware not updated, need to update the firmware. else, easy way juz pick other telco name (not important), maybe from malaysia, maybe from singapore, as long as it show a LTE mode for u to select under the drop down box. and then remember key in correct celcom apn name & dial up number, save it, should be fine already. |

QUOTE(HwangTommy @ Mar 19 2015, 11:53 PM) Hey guys, wanna ask, I have a phone that support 1800 and 2600 fdd. I am using Maxis with 4G logo on the sim card. I went to a place that (according to their website) has 4g coverage but I can't receive 4g on my phone, only 3g. Anything that I have to activate? I am using the ReloadPlus RM10 (included 100MB high speed internet). 1) check your sim card is 64K or 128K2) subscribe to Maxis LTE-enabled internet plan (not all plan got LTE) 3) set phone network mode - if got manual mode 'LTE only", else pick "auto LTE/wcdma/gsm" if all above done, still no 4g, it means 4g signal not able to reach into that spot. solution is by using 4g repeater. but 4g lte repeater itself is costly now. * repeater solution is already long history, being deployed in shopping complex, commercial building so that people can make calls, 3g internet inside building* |

QUOTE(spicediablo @ Apr 7 2016, 10:52 PM) Hi, how's the signal level when u on 4g?I am using A2005 Oneplus 2 and having problem getting 4G on Celcom. Even when i'm on 4G, my data doesn't work and after a moment, it will be redirected to 3G. Anybody facing this problem? if zero or 1 bar, it could be due to signaling level to weak then phone would trigger auto switch to 3g with better signal level (most phone now coming with auto switch option for 4g (4g>3g>2g), can't lock on this network only. on contrary, for 3g or 2g, we can select network mode of '3g only' or '2g/gsm only' to permanently stick on it) if lte signal level is ok, data is flowing well then sudden disconnect 4g lte netwok, there could be a lot of reasons. |
