On Sierra MiFi device, there is a threshold which set the amount of minimum power before the modem reboot due to low power.

Every device is unique for that, possible to be fixed via a config mod.

I suggest try updating your firmware first.

Latest one available at netgear website which enable GPS tracking and some great stuff.

Thinking of buying a new phone.  Should i go for LTE or 3G model ?
Does all the 3G network run on HSPA + speed ?

I don't do downloads or watch youtube over the over phone. 

Mostly will be for browsing.  Will the user experience (speed) differ a lot between the 3G and LTE network ?

i get a ip5 on august for work purpose.

but till today dont have LTE signal or whatsoever although i enable LTE.

so is the issue...

1. my sim card is not LTE?
2. they didn't register me for LTE

been travelling around but never receive LTE at all as in never see the LTE word in screen. 

In the previous 5 years , you get to drive from kancil to ferrari.
I applauded because that's a big leap towards technology.
But u get to drive only 500m.
In the current 5 years , from ferrari you were upgraded to F1.
Same too , very big leap.
But the same shyt. 500m.
So in the next decade suddenly we see rocket in our daily life.
But no change, instead of on road you can fly.

We follow the hyped technology from oversea but still restricted to the same miles on a worse then 3rd world country concept.

No doubt it's arguable that quota should be implemented. But in the first place, do we really need that superman speed? What does it contribute ?. Instead of using up your 5gb quota in a mth, you can now kiss your quota goodbye in a week or worse in 3 days.

Trust me.. it wont do much difference. Probably for corporate users this is something beneficial.
End user wise no.
It's just an excuse to push consumer to buy new phone and sign more phone deals.
The broadband experience wont even be much difference in the end.
The day when u sign for streamyx/unifi, u get unlimited data expenditure vs mobile broadband with so mini quota, u already see the big difference over there.
I do know that unifi have the said quota rule but users are still utilizing above their quota limits.
With at least 60gb quota is more a considerable package.
1gb or 3gb quota package is just plain silly and waste of time.
The mobile broadband companies are just milking money on this stingy quota package over and over again.

Not in the case of Telenor's DTAC in Thailand. They've invested over RM4billion for the past 2 years on their next generation Trinet network and just last month another RM1 billion top up making it a total of RM5 billion.

If I remembered how much did DiGi invested for their Tomorrow's LTE Network upgrade? RM500 million?

That's 10x in confidence Telenor has in Thailand than Malaysia.
As a foreign company they was able to become the country's no 1 telco in Thailand. What did DiGi became today? The telco with the most complains and the most expensive plans. Goes to show how much bureaucracy and politics Malaysia has in business freedom.
