Usps come to Malaysia become pos laju, if ur item is no illegal or not exit tax free limit (below rm 500 including shipping cost). . . . Then no worry

I think about 1-2 weeks. Sometimes your shipment gets held up at Malaysia Customs. You should receive a letter from Pos Malaysia asking if you would like to appoint them as your agent to clear the shipment. Or you go do it yourself. smile.gif

If the value of the goods is less than RM500, I think you don't need to go through this step anymore, if all the documentation is already provided by the sender (declared value, item description, etc. etc.)

I hope you have the tracking number; keep tracking it. If necessary give a call to Pos Malaysia to follow up.

the customs number that starts with LJ is usually just normal stamp parcels/letters.

If your seller is from major places like Florida, New York or California, around 10 days min will reach or the most 2 weeks (if you live in Klang Valley - if outstation then give and take another week).

If your seller is from other cities etc, it will take 2-3 weeks to arrive Malaysia.

FYI USPS is United States Postal Services (same like Pos Malaysia is to Malaysia).

1 to 2 weeks like everyone is saying. I send electronics home for my family and to sell. The bigger problem is getting them to swnd it to Malaysia. Alot of the cheap ones wont do international shippinh because of scammers.

Why so many USPS thread lately?

First Class Mail = Delivered by normal postman (usually riding a bike)

Priority Mail = Same as above but if the sender required signature, the pos laju peeps will sent it to you

Express Mail = Pos laju

From my experience first class and express is the fastest. Priority just shit.

usps if kena kastam need to appoint poslaju for clearance and their service is not cheap. double than DHL. with DHL they will settle everything for you. item arrived you just pay the tax and fee later. the fee is about RM 20 excluding tax from kastam.

not to include the waiting time for the letter from kastam to inform you that your item is now with kastam. so it takes a long time to settle.
