guys, any idea what software to use to oc the 660m in y580?

Thanks. Any of you guys have problems connecting with internet? Sometimes mine just wont connect or need connect a few times before it will be smooth. Is it driver problem? mine is the broadcom wireless card.

Atheros AR8161/8165 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller this one? cause i have that, but my wireless connector like got prob, im not sure if its my wifi or driver issue

what do mean? You didnt do clean install? I thought when you do clean install you dont get any problems.

Im doing a clean install. Basically, all my files and programs gone rite? Is it ok if i saw my media files and drivers at an external HDD and connect and reinstall when the clean install is done?

oh yeah, do note the drivers download can be really slow. Probably a server side issue.

i think so. Some malaysian owners with malaysia Y580 use those drivers and no prob. Finger's crossed =)

uhm can put into 3 cd or must put into one dvd only?

are you using a Y580? Lemme know how it goes =D is your wifi Broadcom or atheros?

mine is also broadcom.Damn. I dled the old windows 7 64it one. Based on what i saw broadcom and atheros used the same. So finger crossed it will work.

Added on November 1, 2012, 6:16 pmJust did a clean windows 8 insrall. So far, no problem. Have not even started installing the drivers lol. And I can go onto the internet. My wifi is Broadcom btw =)

and windows 8 is awesome =D

hmm. I just found a window.old folder. It seems contain all my old program files.should i delete it?

guys, any idea what too do? My windows is now locked up. i cant do system restore or even install as it refuses to accept my product key. Any ideas?
