I just bought my Y580 FHD i7 3630 with 3 year onsite warranty, 8 gb ram 1600 MhZ (4 gb corsair vengence) and OCZ Vertex 4 256 gb for a damn good price with free headset and bag.

QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Sep 8 2012, 01:39 PM) LOL... OOO... Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll upgrade it later. U upgraded too? How much u paid for the ram. That Corsair one has different Cas Latency than the stock one, which is CL9 vs CL11, I suggest u upgrade to both Corsair as maybe will got compatibility issue after used in long term |

QUOTE(chopin @ Sep 8 2012, 07:15 PM) wrong post... So there wont be any problem with 4gb corsair vengence 1600 MHZ and the stock 4 gb ram 1600 MHZ? If there won't be any compatibility issues then i wont change.Added on September 8, 2012, 7:16 pm if you have got a pair of same specs, i dun think u should spend extra $ to change the ram to vengeance, the difference will be too small, unless you change to even higher MHz (that also I doubt the difference is worth the $ or not). |

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Sep 8 2012, 08:36 PM) 4gb corsair vengence and the stock 4gb ram has different latency..... Ooo okay! Thanks, if no issues. I dont mind. I'll stick to the corsair + stock ram. I got the 4gb corsair vengeance as an upgrade at a very good price.not sure there'll be compatibility issues (dun know much bout ram latency) but as long as you stick to that combination, iinm it is just same as you using 2x stock ram |

QUOTE(chopin @ Sep 8 2012, 08:47 PM) my previous machine was having one stick 1333Mhz, one stick 1600 mhz, also working perfectly, only thing is they will operate at whatever lower grade between them - at 1333mhz. if one is CL9, one is CL11, they will run at CL11. so u dont really need to change - unless if you can sell one of the sticks at very little loss, then buy another stick that is same specs with the other one. dont waste too much $ on this, might as well save it for SSD - the difference will be SIGNIFICANT, very.... Ooo. Thanks! If no problem i wont change! Already upgraded to 256 ocz vertex SSD.Added on September 8, 2012, 9:25 pm QUOTE(distributor @ Sep 8 2012, 09:00 PM) I cannot check yet. The laptop is with my brother, i am currently out of town. Will check the ram timing and chipset, when i get my hands on it! Thanks for the feedback! Just worried if there will be a problem, if there is, i can try to nego with the seller now to top up for another corsair 4gb vengeance.
