BTW, just now I found out got one hardware part number list inside my Y480 box, if u can found out that list, u can browse the pdf file below to check what's the part they use in ur Y480/Y580

But in fact it is Boardcom. How come the performance is so bad

I think u install wrong driver coz u just say 2200, reinstall back the boardcom one...

I am still using the W7HP comes with the laptop. Out of the box, not even install any software yet.

Mine is also Broadcom too. Doesn't seem to be 'speedy' but surfing and downloading just fine. Tried to look for new drivers but can't find any new ones.

I tried laptopvideo2go forum. There's a special thread for Broadcom Wi-Fi NICs. But none of the published drivers would install (it says ours are the latest already lol!). Well, if there is no issues don't worry about it. Don't usually trust link speed. More important is average throughput. You can try IPERF or do a local FTP file transfer. Thats a more accurate representation of performance.

Maybe they might bring in the version with 32GB mSATA caching. This requires HM77 chipset.

Optimus working fine, perform greater performance, driver no crash like 304.79, almost complete driver except Windows Index score display no correctly for Graphic and Gaming Graphic section...

i think u got a good deal for that price... let us know the amount and speed of the ram, hdd, drive, etc...
