Hey guys, I've just received this laptop today. Mine is with W7 Home Basic. Need some advice here. As I read the first post by TS, he mentioned about Lenovo driver disc. The thing is I don't have this driver disc. One more thing, any driver that I should download/upgrade? Thanks.

The dealer said no need for Driver disc. All drivers already inside local storage. I've already check, inside D drive. So, any driver that I must/should upgrade? Thanks.

How to make a clone copy of my current windows 7 on my desktop into my laptop hdd ? planning to get a y480 soon.

Normally I'll update the driver received.. sometimes the driver provided is not up to date

Why don't u bought separately? (Like me, I'm bought Y480(FreeDOS)+Windows 7 Home Premium OEM Builder Pack)...lol

I was going to buy the freeDOS version but the dealer said freeDOS is out of stock. Have to wait few days for that version. So, I bought with the W7 instead. Since the dealer was my classmate, he was going to offer me free 4Gb Ram. Unfortunately, that is out of stock as well. Now still exploring the laptop. Dunno what program to upgrade. Scared that later might ruin the program.

BTW 304.48 install conclusion:
1)It drag my boot time
2)When play NFS Hot Pursuit can't choose NVIDIA GPU
3)WOT fps very unstable
So plan to switch back to 304.79

U got check ur RAM speed? It running at 1333MHz or 1600MHz?

Has any1 here managed to upgrade their warranty from 1 to 2 years?

I've registered online but so far the status still stated valid for 1 yr.

Lenovo Malaysia say that they currently renew their warranty site, so our two years warranty will be updated 1-2 months later...

How to check RAM speed? I've installed CPU-Z, and the reading is 798Mhz for memory.

Edit: Just now check my warranty status, why location become Australia?==

just got myself Y480(FreeDOS) a few minutes ago... the seller free delivered to my office.... ... sealed and comes with driver discs... bought from this seller: RM2379 + RM268 (3 years onsite warranty)
