Been using Cyborg Rat 9 for over 6 months.
I don't really use to game but I find the sidescroll extremely useful for photo/video editing.

However after 6 months, I notice the batteries don't use to last as long anymore. Anyone have any idea where I can get Rat 9 spare batteries ?

hi! im looking forward to use R.A.T 9 since i've been looking for wireless gaming mouse. i just need a detailed comparison between R.A.T 9 and Razer Mamba before getting either one of them.. i think you can look for CK Multimedia System in facebook and ask the auntie. My friend used to buy R.A.T 7 at that store. Can you give me your opinion for R.A.T 9? Thanks in advance!

Alo everybardy !
I would like to get a gaming mouse. RAT 7 Cyborg caught my eye, anyone here owns one and knows where to get it?

Otherwise, would like to get the G500S logitech, looks awesome too. Is there any G500S user here?

i've been using R.A.T 7 for 6 months now and all i can say this mouse is made for comfort and headshots! since u can customize the mouse as you like such as the pinkie rest, weight, thumb rest and palm rest. all the buttons can be programmable and have 3 profile mode. the Precision Aim button or for Razer its called the Clutch Trigger, is for headshots since you can lower your DPI as you pressed the button for presicion aiming.. biggrin.gif

but if you do want to get R.A.T 7 or the other series, i wouldn't recommend Albino because it have matte surface and it can get dirty from daki2 at your hands.. hahahahahaa.. try CK Multimedia at Subang Jaya i think.. smile.gif

Just 2 things I suppose.
1. Hard to find replacement batteries. I've looked for a few places which sells Rat 9... but they don't sell the batteries. They provide 2 batteries, I swap them nearly every single day. It's not like regular wireless mouse where one battery can last for weeks.
2. Responsiveness. There are times where it's really really good. Even for a wireless mouse, 1ms response time after all.
But they're prone to suddenly lagging as well. I'm using it about 50cm to 1m away from the transmitter....

Using it on an iMac 2012. Rarely used for gaming, mostly for photo/video/audio editing. Got the wireless to cut down on clutter. I believe it's very similar Rat 7 (feel/performance (when it's working).

wow, the batteries needs to be changed after 4-5 hours i suppose.. T.T but the batteries can be change easily right? yup, i think it just the same as R.A.T 7 but wireless.. and yes the side scroll are really convenient at most times! biggrin.gif what i love the most with this mouse is the pinkie rest!

ahhhh, you know your life is hard when you have to choose between two amazingly engineered mouse! Anyone uses Razer Mamba 4G here? drool.gif

I use maximum weights but left out the pinkie rest. Felt it was too big for my cramped table lol.

Compared to regular wireless, the wireless dongle isn't a tiny USB stick.
Rather it's 5cmx5cm charging station + wireless transceiver. Swapping batteries is really really easy.
Although, needing to do that every day or two is irritating.

One thing about cyborg rat mouse.... since it has quite a bit of nook and corners.... cleaning it can get tedious
*
i use minimum weights because it feels to heavy to glide on the mousepad and my hand gets tired from too much gliding.. >.<

i'll just need to clean the dirty spots at the surface and it will look like new but unfortunately i cant.. my friend used many substance such as alcohol and stuff to clean the mess and still didn't get off from the surface..

anyway thanks for your opinion about the mouse! rclxms.gif

For gaming, is it better to get a wired mouse instead of wireless one?
*
if both suits you well, then why not wireless? rclxms.gif but the price for gaming wireless mouse usually higher than the wired one..
