why does my steel series ikari stops working(with lazer still on) or it runs full sensitif and goes to the corner of the screen.its getting annoying as i have to replug the usb.pls help

hi can anybody help me out?
i bought a x-luca cyborg gaming mouse last night.
their is a problem with the mouse,its hard to slide to the right side but its eazy to slide it to the left.
what is the problem??please fast reply tq.
