i doubt the authenticity of that information tho.

the problem with kana isnt mice click issue(tho keep in mind that kana isnt using omron switches but lower quality switches by TTC), but its the problem with the sensor(Pixart PAN3305DK-H) where it occasionally locks up.

as for testing, heavyarm in ss15 has kana(and other varieties of mice) open for demo.

try them out yourself, some would notice the difference, some would not. at the end of the day, they all have their own set of pros and cons/faults. find out the particular sensor which your intended mice is using, and search up more about it.
