Hey guys, I need recommendations for a gaming mouse used for both fps and rpg (or a mixture of both, Skyrim =D)
I have been using a cheap gameshark mouse for over 2 years, which for some reason made me abandon my old gaming mouse. It was perfect for me and gave me the most 'feel'. But unfortunately, being 2 years old and facing constant intensive fps gameplay, it's nearing its end of its life, and i can't seem to find a shop that sells it anymore, so, i'm hoping to reenter the realm of modern gaming mice. =D

Budget is below Rm300, and i'm hoping it to be:
-lightning-fast response (duh)
-Lightweight (I have been using light mice for years, and i'm not keen on changing that fact)
-shorter cable (laptop gaming, wad to do? =P)
-Able to handle abuse (I'm a low sen sniper (SA), so instead of dragging my mouse to turn I actually clank and swipe my mouse on the table)
-functions well without a mousepad (i don't bring a huge razer mousepad to where ever i go, takes up too much space on my laptop bag.)
-if wireless i wan to ensure it is perfectly responsive, unlike my last wireless mouse which turned me off years ago.
-design is not all that important, and i don't mind low profile mice, as long as they feel awesome ^^
-a few extra buttons won't hurt, but not overkill or hard to reach and impractical.
-not too large (i have below average hand size for a guy)
-a neat function to be able to change dpi externally with a button click is welcome, especially when playing fps like tf2 (yep, sniper again)
-not TOO smooth, to the extent that the mouse feels like gliding (I bought a mouse with extreme smoothness, and ditched it after 5 mins into a match), i want a firm and stable feeling.
-if can i want it to be white in colour =P, but if dun have then nvm.

I guess its a little hard to find a absolute perfect mouse for me, but you'll understand that i need the gain the best value for my money right? Especially with such an expensive piece of professional equipment ^^

If you can't recommend the perfect mouse for me, hopefully you can still give me suggestions for an awesome gaming mouse. =D

Thanks in advance ^^

EDIT* oh, and I'm leaning more towards a claw grip instead of a full palm grip.

wow thats a really specific type of mouse you're looking for, so you'd probably will have a hard time getting a mouse that you'll like.. but on claw grips there are a few in the market that is good

1) Cooler Master Storm Spawn
2) Razer Abysus
3) Logitech G300

Hey guys, i still need a mouse and i'm torn between 4 mouse.
I'm buying a laptop soon to play just about any games, from FPS to RTS to MMO.
I'm okay with any mice, as long as they are not too heavy or too big for my hand.
And my budget is RM300 btw.

which one is better in terms of
-price
-performance
-availability (i dun wan to go all over the place to find it, or hopefully gt sell at lowyat)

1)Steelseries Sensei RAW
2)Razer Death Adder
3)Steelseries Xai
4)Razer Orochi

Need some professional opinions from the sifus out there =D

Don't go for Razer. The durability of their products had dropped significantly in recent years. I had a Razer Lachesis 4k DPI, it broke almost 1 year after i bought it, RMA, got back Lachesis 5.6k DPI in return, and that one broke as well.   doh.gif

Drop Razer from ur list. Go for anything other than that snake brand.

Oh, and you might wanna take a look into Roccat products too. Own one and I like it.

Oh yeah, i've heard of people complaining about the recent Razer products, and they say Xai faces its own host of problems, yet they say sensei raw has a louzier build compared to Xai.

And thanks for the suggestion. I have not heard of roccat mice before, let alone any experience with one, so i'll try to find out more about the brand.

Anyway, there is this new brand "Armergeddon" or something that just recently appeared (or maybe i haven't been to a shopping complex for months due to exam? ==")
Anyone have any experience with there mice?

Edit* Another question, which mouse is better, Xai or Sensei RAW in terms of performance and build quality?
