red led mouse? its there any

Hi boys!

Been lurking for a while now and I'm really looking forward to buying myself a quality mouse. Hope you guys can help.

Thus far, I've tried the following:

1. Razer Abyssus - This seems to be the de facto standard for quality cyber cafés in KL. Medium-sized, optical (infrared?), DPI switches underneath (450/1800/3500) with a minimalist design. For RM130, this is value! That said, the parts used are cheaper. One cyber cafe staff told me that these stuff last about 6 months at most before it becomes junk.

2. Steelseries Kana - bought the Dota 2 edition. Shame on me, impulse buy. But it did come with a nice mousepad. It's still cheaper than buying it seperately. It's smaller than the Abyssus by a bit. Has harder left/right buttons and two super soft side buttons. Love the fact that there is a DPI switcher right next to the scroll wheel. I can switch from gaming mode (1600) to photoshop mode (400) with ease.

Retails for RM189. Not sure how long this will last, but I'm sure the cheap Omron switches are not designed for abuse. Looks wise, I prefer the Kana to the Abyssus. I just love the red glow on the underside.

3. Roccat Savu and Kone - these guys have been hawking their wares to a lot of cyber cafés in KL. It's irritating that DPI adjustments can only be made through their software. Both mice don't really allow your palm to rest on it. The indentations for fingers encourages an eagle-claw grip. This is not for me. Button placements appear weird. Left/right buttons seem to sink too low. Side buttons were pressed easily by accident due to the grip. The overall experience was uncomfortable. Unlike the above mentioned mice, Roccat's optical sensors really needs a cloth mousepad to function optimally. Final, albeit trivial, remark: The LED colors would cycle like a Pink Floyd video - it only makes sense if you're high on drugs.

4. Razer Deathadder - tried these out at Orange Stadium Setapak. Cool beans! It's freaking huge! Good for people like me that can palm grip a basketball. This is like the Abyssus XL. I've not seen the spec sheet, but I'm pretty sure that the Deathadder switches "feels" better than the Abyssus, Roccat and Kana. Retails for just below RM200.

Conclusion/tl;dr: I'm inclined to buy a Deathadder to be brought to cyber cafés. Is it a good buy? If not, please recommend something else.  I want it big, sensitive and it must last.

The point is, every time I go to a CC, I have to download Synapses 2.0 and log in. That is dumb.

Bought DA Black from Lingloong aka Dotatech, whom I highly recommend. Cheapest price I found (not mentioning it, since he requires people to PM him).

OK, enough promotion for Lingloong. What about the DA?

I love it! Big and comfortable. Since Black has no glow, it does not attract the attention of thieves. Nice. Well, I unplug it whenever I leave my PC when I'm in a CC anyway.

But... I HAVE A BLOODY BIG PROBLEM WITH SYNAPSES 2.0. Having to INSTALL AND LOG IN to SYNAPSES 2.0 every time I go to a cyber cafe is STUPID. Having Razer install cookies in my browser is STUPID. Having Razer selling my email address is STUPID. Having Razer spying on what I surf and what I play is STUPID.

Until they get rid of it, I will be recommending LOGITECH G400 or SS SENSEI to my gaming friends.

That said, I've overcome the problem by installing their so-called LEGACY DRIVERS. It's actually hidden in their support pages. Not very friendly of them.

Consider this fair warning to future gaming mice hunters.

Logitech G100 or G100S, G300, Steelseries Kinzu V2 best mouse for under price range of RM100.

instead of Kinzu v2 Pro i rather get Abyssus Mirror / Normal one.

2. Roccat Kone Pure Color (15% discount from SRP @ Gaming Brightstar)
3. SS Rival

any advise. gonna dissemble my xai 2nite n try to fix the 2x click problem. if fail gotta get one of the above.

Anyone from here experienced or using ROCCAT gaming mouse? If yes, can suggest me model?

--EDIT: anyone know any good model FLAWLESS sensor gaming mouse? i guess i need the flawless sensor because the current 1 i using armaggeddon alien3-g5 gave me a bad sensor on fps game after playing few months with it, i got nightmare with bad sensor

Got my razer DA 3.5G, adapted with it finally, btw, can I ask what's the noticeable difference for the 500Hz and 1000Hz Polling rate? I'm currently using 500Hz with 900DPI

its already EOL for XAI mouse.
nth, juz personal preference sensei is not bad, but the coating will fade overtime quite fast if you have a sweaty palm.

looking for a new mouse. interested with mouse with hotkeys. dont want like razer naga (10++ hotkeys). got 2 - 5 hotkeys is enuf oredi.any recommendation?thanks

For gaming, is it better to get a wired mouse instead of wireless one?

Does any DA owners have issues with the mouse in Windows 7 or 8? I could not use my legacy Razer DA 1600dpi that came with C&C: Kane's Wrath without the mouse "left-clicking" for me randomly. I used Synapses 2.0 and legacy drivers to no avail. Worst of all... I found a firmware update link on Razer Support website, installed and ran it, and it bricked my DA No lights, cannot be detected by any PC whatsoever.

Do the newer DA work well with Windows 7 and 8?

Hi all the sifus here, I'm planning to get a new mouse but I'm not sure what to get yet. Currently undecided between razer death adder and naga 2014. This is my first time getting a gaming mouse though so I'm open to other brands and mice as well. I'm a palm grip kind of guy.

I play dota 2 and cs:go mostly. Wanted to get the death adder but undecided because of the buttons naga has. Are there any naga users here? Do you guys use all of the buttons? Can I program functions like Enter or copy/paste to the buttons?

Also, how is the lifespan for razer mice. Around 1 year? 2 years?
